I just dont get the time to put into the car that I would like to because of my job. It has got to the point that im actually sad when I get home and see it sitting on a stupid battery charger every day.

I love cars, always have, always will, but im going to take a break from the scene for a while. Save for something in the next level when I do decide to hop back in. I do not really have a clear direction yet other than at this point im burnt out a little.

Thanks Dave, I already thought about not selling it to any rich punks :icon17: Because I know it will get abused.

Zoren 370 10-21-2013 05:55 PM

Oh my goodness I hope I won't join the band wagon but I've been trying to shed some excess to compensate to be able to save and gain more. Hopefully I can hold on to her as long as I can and just give up the whale for an older smaller sedan.

Wait until I sell mine so the market isnt flooded with awesome cheaper cars :icon17:

Traded the Xterra in tonight for a Midnight Edition Juke. The X was a nice ride but quite the gas hog. To think my 470WHP car gets the same fuel mileage was killing me. By the way the Juke is an absolute blast to drive.

Cool! I'm loving my Nismo Juke. I just wish they had bigger gas tanks.

Just when I thought I was the only one :/

Mr&Mrs 10-23-2013 07:47 AM

The Nismo Juke would of gave me another car payment this was a straight trade minus taxes. They are not budging much on the Nismos in my area, 28-30k is a little silly for what it is IMO.

28-30k  That's more than what I paid out the door! Usually Canada pricing is way worse than the US. For example I saved 10k importing my 370z from the US instead of buying it here.

This is true, however people that want warranty in Canada, and buy a US model, need to pay a very high 3rd party warranty, if they want warranty. Nissan Canada does NOT warranty US vehicles unless u buy from them, and purchase the 3rd person warranty, but no dealership will sell a US model in a Canadian dealership..... Im sure you, Gale didn't care for warranty lol

You're right, if the car is brand spanking new, as in you are the first owner. The way around this is, the car must be registered in the US for 6 months before importing it. Mine was a "demo" with 6k miles on it when I brought it over. I had some things fixed under warranty without issue (before I started modding).

Smart move

Have 150 miles on the Juke so far going easy for now until it is broken in. Its hard to resist spooling that little turbo though. Getting back to a single turbo (even though its tiny) is awesome. I have noticed a little bit a turbo lag at times I am going to research ways of fixing it. It may have to do with the CVT at lower speeds I think.

Mr&Mrs 11-02-2013 07:56 AM

Juke Update:

On the 25th I was standing on a curb letting the wife into the car and noticed 5-6 deep scratches on the roof of the Juke. Car was dropped off at 7AM on the 26th and we still have no word on when it will be ready. Nissan of Brandon sucks so bad. Other than my awesome sales man that has been with them a handful of years, the place makes me want to go postal LOL.

Z Update:

I drove the Z to work 3 days in a row seeing if I could reconnect with it. Nope, still happy with the decision to sell it. It was a blast though, I forgot how much attention and conversation this thing gets. While we were handy out candy on Halloween neighbor's couldn't stop saying how much they loved the Z. It is going to suck to not have a bad *** car for a while in the garage.

Current plan:

GTR or C7 within a year :driving:

Thats my plan but plans change. A small portion of the company I work for was just sold a few days ago, so I hope to still have my job a year from now. If things stay good it looks like I can get into a 2-3 year old GTR within my budget or a brand new to 1 year old C7.

 sweet deal man..... make sure you still pop in once in a while after your z is sold and you have either one man

Mr&Mrs 01-11-2014 02:41 PM

First polish and wax of the season. Even though shes for sale I still love her! Pictures suck but wanted to share them anyway.

I may try to get her out to a show on the 19th as well. Took best Nissan/Infinity at it last year.

Awesome Z! So clean.

Mr&Mrs 01-13-2014 07:57 PM

Soooo it's late the Z isn't getting much love on the market. I have always been a single turbo junkie......I'm tossing the idea of doing a deal to swap my GTM kit for a BP Single. Only way it will work though is if a local has the money for my kit plus install.

We could agree on a local shop to do the install of both kits, plus the removal of mine to save some cash. I thought about doing a for sale thread but thought I would bounce it off you guys first.

It will be a good deal for who ever wants to do it but I don't want to short myself to much. What do you think a GTM Stage 1 turn key would be worth. It will include everything that originally comes with the kit. So it's going to be turn key pretty much. The kit has around 12k miles on it.

Glokwork 01-13-2014 08:43 PM

Hey bro! Glad to see you are keeping the Z. I love single turbo builds also but I highly don't recommend it at all on this platform. The twin setups perfectly suit the VHR and that GTM kit you have is great.

Can you explain a little more detail. I know you have the S&R kit which is quite different than the BP kit.

Luciano13 01-14-2014 08:26 AM

Glad you're keeping her but man am I surprised she didn't go in the first month....

You're planning on a monster single turbo ey...... This will be interesting to follow:tup:

Meulen 01-14-2014 08:36 AM

Why do you want to change your set up?

As I mentioned I'm kind of a junkie for the power delivery of a single turbo. I also really, really like the BP kit. When I was looking in to boosting the wife's car his was top of my list, unfortunately her car was auto. If I can get into a BP kit for a couple Gs after selling my kit I would be happy. If it doesn't work out I still have a great setup.

Defended my title and took best of class, Z, or nissan/Infinitiat IFO again this year. I don't remember I was drinking most of the day Lol. Unfortunately IFO trophies are a little generic and do not say what you won on them.

They switch up titles depending on turn out and amount of make/models of certain cars. Which is actually a good thing I think minus the untitled trophy.

Regardless I was shocked there were some very nice Nissans and Z cars including Kelly's to go up against. I missed judging due to a 45 minute beer line and had to search them out twice to come back to my car. I'm not leaving my car unlocked while I'm MIA with a 600$ shift knob begging to be stolen. I had pretty much given up but my two buddies walked around one last time with me and got a judge to come swing by, glad he did!

As usual I had no camera with me so I will (meaning my wife) be sourcing the photos from the show over the next couple days and I will share them with you guys.

GaleForce 01-20-2014 11:38 AM
