Damn, Rob...sorry to hear about that. I'll make sure not to use him now.

GaleForce 03-08-2013 10:10 PM

They look fairly good from the pictures. Maybe not as tight as it could be. They are going to look great once installed.

omm370z 03-09-2013 12:36 PM

Sorry to hear bad news :/

Mr&Mrs 03-09-2013 02:40 PM

Seats look great in the car. One minor issue I have not noticed anyone else mention. The door hit the shoulder support when it closes. Is it just an issue with this model Sparcos? I do not know. Someone will have to chime in that has other aftermarket seats.

I read about that issue when I was looking to buy seats, part of the reason why I haven't bought seats yet. Just about pulled the trigger on a set of Status seats but the guy at Vivid Racing couldn't give me a straight answer, instead he went into hard sell mode. No answer, no money. :ugh2:

simota1 03-09-2013 03:28 PM

sorry for your troubles man :( i still think they look good though!!!

happytheman 03-09-2013 06:33 PM

Seats look sick! Great choice! Can't wait to see em in the Z. :)

GaleForce 03-09-2013 08:51 PM

I like this Zele logo better than the other one. Good choice making the guy redo it.

It could be the sliders or side mount mounted too close to the door?

The base should have some room to play around with if I'm not wrong

Mr&Mrs 03-12-2013 09:55 AM

Thanks bud i will check it out but im afraid there is very little room to shift the seats over. Maybe when i get my harnesses i can make up the distance of the seat belt buckle. Then again, that will just make my right leg even closer to the console so idk.

My old status seat shoulder support hit the door as well. And just my opinion but those seats are hideous and tacky. Everything on your car has been gorgeous so far, hope you dont keep these...

Mr&Mrs 03-12-2013 01:17 PM

Do you have different seats now? If you do how do they fit? I also tried the airbag reset and I still have the blinking light on the dash. it seems simple to do but i guess i could have done it wrong.

I'm getting OMP seats put in later this month. I never did the airbag trick, soon as my car gets back from the shop thats one of the first things I'm doing.

Ya, i agree ... Rob, let me know when I can swing by and take them off your hands. Those are the worst seats ever brother... All racy looking with holes in the head area and color matched to the car.. Yuk!

I'll have to suffer by putting them in my car.. Its okay, I'm just trying to help out a friend.. No need to thank me.. :happydance:

Mr&Mrs 03-12-2013 08:59 PM

Haha! Once I post pics of them in the car Reaper may change his mind, just a little at least :p

On another note what color harnesses should I get? With the Blue back pads I think more Blue would be to much. I was actually leaning towards Red to tie in the dash of Red in the Zele logo, tail lights, and calipers. If not only other color I would get is Black.

Blue harness w/ red pads.. I think your right about breaking up the blue, but a full red harness may be to much. What ever you get I still want a ride!

Mr&Mrs 03-12-2013 09:09 PM

Well after this week she will be down and out until my stupid Zele exhaust gets here. Bob said I could use his stock exhaust but im not going to drive it around much with no tips and risk burning the paint off my bumper.

Mr&Mrs 03-14-2013 02:52 PM

Spent alllll morning detailing the Z just to pull it right back in the garage and go back on the tender :shakes head: after spending all that time on it I didnt want to drive and get it dirty

Couple quick pics of the shine

Finally got the Zele knob installed, it looks dull in the pictures for some reason maybe because I used our throw away camera.

I had not noticed anyone else do this on their Z and it drove me nuts every time I opened the hatch. (Color matched tail light covers)

Glad that you are happy

chpt11 03-14-2013 05:01 PM

Lookin sharp !

GaleForce 03-14-2013 05:02 PM

Good idea on the tail light covers. I was going to get the upper strip on the bumper painted black like on the factory piece. You may have changed my mind.

Mr&Mrs 03-14-2013 05:06 PM

Hey bud did you ever get your airbag light fixed?

When you get those red harness seat belts you will also need to get your plate changed to "P SMURF"!

Mr&Mrs 03-15-2013 02:01 PM

I cant use the Smurf title I feel that it belongs to Tony.

I got the weight sensor and i need 200 miles more to put the car inside the shop for service (oil/light)

What about you? what did you do with the changing of the seats (airbag)

Unique_Z 03-18-2013 03:04 PM

:yum::tup:

Mr&Mrs 03-18-2013 03:19 PM

I guess I did not fully understand the DIY. I just thought I would plug everything back in and it would work fine. I guess I have to do the 4.7 ohm 1/2 watt resistor. I just got them in the mail yesterday so when I get time im going to hack up the plug and I should be good to go. As of now I have no airbags :ugh2:

Any update on the exhaust? :excited:

Mr&Mrs 03-18-2013 05:03 PM

Nope they just keep telling me the container has not cleared customs. Which I think is bogus. I think either Zele is behind on orders, BP did not have 3 sets coming and just ordered it when I paid, or something is really f'ed up that they will not tell me.

Too bad I have another part on order with them already that had a 3-4 month ETA because once I get that they will be hard pressed to get any more of my money. Weekly updates would be great but the only time I hear from them is if I contact them myself.

I know JDM parts take time that isn’t the problem, the problem is no communication. Plus one of the times I was told the crew was working all weekend and I would have an update Monday.....nothing. If the container is held up why even tell me that???

Anyway I am rambling, not happy about it! 11k in less than 6 months to a company should get you better treatment.

Brutal. Companies need better customer service. :shakes head:

On a side note, thanks again for the paint idea (tail light pieces). I decided to go this route too.

Mr&Mrs 03-18-2013 07:56 PM

Sweet its a cheap easy mod and looks way better than black. What about your rear bumper. What did you decide?

I'm going against the grain. Option #1. I think it will "blend" in more. Hopefully it looks good.

4.7ohm+weight sensor to release the stress of the stupid light. I need 200 miles more to clear that.

i laugh you know why? because i been thru this but not with bp.

Me here been in peru every day i mailed them about my stuff and they always kept me updated no issue about this at all. It is weird tho.

Yes JDM parts takes times, specially from zele, amuse, abflug etc. Custom items, no stock of parts to avoid the overstocking.

In my case it took 4 weeks for my vestito to be made and 6 more to arrive to bp same with the exaust like 3months to arrive to L.A. The varis hood i ordered took like 4 months if im not wrong.

Don't know what is going on but i saw new office. I don't want to tell you to be patience because i know how it feels.

What i learned is that i will demand time and a contract with money refund for exceding the time of waiting but as ive been told. When you do custom time is not always exact...

Mr&Mrs 04-04-2013 09:45 PM

Well I finally got them to come clean after lots of nagging. All three sets of Zele exhaust were damaged during shipping (at least this is what I have been told). They worked out a deal for Zele to repair them and when complete air frieght them back to the U.S. I was offered a small refund to suffice my displeasure.

Im still very unhappy with the way they dealt with the problem. Depending on the time it takes to resolve this 100% I may not do business with them again. I may end up getting my other goodie before the exhaust lol
