ZdayZ is simply the BEST!!! You will love the Z even more once you run the DRAGON.

Updated the strut bar and engine cover pic with better quality from my digital camera. ^ Look up

Also picked up my side skirts :happydance: My painter is knocking it out of the park with quality. Only thing he mentioned is it is hard to color match these panels because they have so much pearl in them. So worst case I may need to have him blend it once I get it back together. I held the skirts up to the car though and without it being out in the light I cant notice a difference.

Mr&Mrs 11-01-2012 11:06 AM

The MBlue is pearlescent so it can't be avoided.

Thanks again for lunch! I'm interested to see how well we adjusted the ride height once you're able to put the car back on the ground. It felt good working on a Z again...haven't touched one in over 6 months.

Mr&Mrs 11-04-2012 05:37 PM

Ya we'll see soon. I picked up my front and rear bumper about 30 minutes ago. Fenders will be ready tomorrow. So im thinking by Wednesday night she might be all back together!

RCZ 11-05-2012 09:01 AM

Like I said on Ryan's thread, you guys should take a drive down to Miami!

Mr&Mrs 11-05-2012 09:04 AM

Thanks, that has been my goal to set mine apart from the other kits soon coming out. It is all smooth as glass too, no tape line height differences. Attention to detail is key! I saw your fenders painted with no clear on them last night when I picked up these parts. OMG if that is how gotkillz car looks in person....:yum: To bad he done it already I do not want to copy anyone, but it looks so awesome.

omm370z 11-06-2012 12:45 AM

Very nice. I wish i could of done this if i had all the parts and car in my hand to made a decent post like yours lol.

Got any teaser final product date? :o

Mr&Mrs 11-06-2012 04:03 AM

Final date is unknown because I still have a ton planned for this car. For the current mods I would say by this weekend the kit will be on and the car will be at a shop getting the exhaust tips modified. Then the wheels are the last touch until next year.

This has been a really fun build so far. I really want to get it back on the road! I send everything to my dads house because I do not trust my neighbor hood. It annoys him a little because I tell him I need him home all the time to get my s*** LOL

Looks like I stumbled upon this thread at the right time! This is one of the baddest Monterey Blues on the street!! Congrats on the car man, couldn't believe when I saw his for sale, TT and yet you just keep the goods coming!

Can't wait to see this thing all together, I can see people have been following this for quite a while thinking the same thing. I've seen the housings on MBlue done both ways, MBlueZ's blue housing/blk shrouds, and FlushNismo's Blk housing/blue shrouds and let me tell you I prefer the latter and look forward to doing mine the same way. I have a question, did Nut_N_Much also fill the landing strip indentions?

Looks great and I'll be checking back daily!

BTW those Sparco seats are ridiculous, makin me think about seats now say bye to my budget lol

Mr&Mrs 11-07-2012 05:53 AM

Thank you sir! I looked at your car a lot for ideas as well as Flush's, and of course Tony! Yes the landing strip was filled and it looks a heck of a lot better that way. Only reason to keep the dimples is if you want a landing strip. As far as your budget goes throw it out the window. I tried it didn’t work!

The seats.....I really wish someone would of purchased them they were too good of a price to last more than a day. Then when he dropped them another 50 bucks I could not say no.

Thanks everyone for the support it makes this much more fun! I do not want to spoil with any more pics until it is back together. I have only had an hour or two a night to work on it. As of last night The rear of the car is complete and the driver side fender is on  Im off all day tomorrow so I hope to get a lot finished.
