How is the paint holding up on the badges? I'm concerned if you didn't prep the existing finish that it will flake off with use

thank you sir. i really want to slow it down after I get a few more things done.
here's what I want to get done next: Tints - 35% all around Fujimura Black Rear Valance FRP Possibly do black wheels with pearl white calipers, and maybe do a black and white theme on the headlights as well. |

they still look as they do on the pictures. I did do a light sanding on the emblems before painting, but they are still plastic and I know they will chip eventually from random rocks and stuff hitting them. Remember I used Nite Shades on these, not regular black paint. The only permanent solution is buying those $80 black chrome badges but so far so good for mine.

they are smooth and shiny in person. i know i posted a pic here when i just mounted them before polishing and they looked matte in that pic. of course the more you wetsand and polish them, the more shine they will have. I also did it by hand... I just don't think it looks as good in pics as it does in real life.

some more pics of the headunit + rear view camera:
camera mounting point: rear view display: navi interface: I finally got Pandora to work through Pandora Link. Because I don't have an Iphone, I used Wi-Fi Tether on my Droid in order to connect to the internet with my ipod touch and be able to load Pandora on to the unit. It sounds complicated but it's actually fairly easy once its set up, and works flawlessly... who needs sirius? |

update on new mods,
Ordered the FRP Matte Black EVO-R Diffuser, and installed it using VHT tape and self taping screws. Fitment isn't perfect, personally doesn't bother me too much, but still looks better than before: Oh and sorry for the not so great pics, my Droid camera doesn't function well when it's so bright out. Need a DSLR already Bought some reverse light LEDs for the taillights. They are white SMD LED bulbs: |

Well I decided to re-do a lot of the mods for the car this spring. I will be changing some of the parts and adding a few more mods. I'm hopping to get this project done by summer's end.... but we will see.
First change was to sell my winter wheels and mount my new summer wheel set! I have not been able to take my car out this whole winter and found that having winter wheels for a car that I don't drive in any snow, is pointless. I picked up a set of Matte Black powdercoated Nismo OEM wheels from a fellow forum member. I was able to get these mounted yesterday. Really like they way they make the car look. Also mounted are 15mm H&R Trak+ spacers on front and rear: |
