It is a Mines replica add-on, I don't think UAM is in business anymore. You could get the original Mines add-on spoiler, i'm not sure if AreoJacket makes a rep or not.

I saw it on RHD Japan for $695 for a CF one. I'm praying the Yen just tanks...

I haven't had anything NEW to add till NOW
Finally got around to insulating the intakes to hopefully help in lowering the air intake temps. I know the intakes would get extremely hot to the touch and so I can only hope this will help some. I also cleaned out both throttle bodies while I was at it. 29k And they needed some cleaning. Ordered it from Summit http://www.summitracing.com/parts/HSP-270212 The thermaflect sleeve slipped over the piping with the filter fine, But I had to customize the thermaflect sleeve piece nearest the intake as you can see why. I had to removed the sewed stitches off those pieces so I could add the cut outs for the both the mass sensor and the smog piping. Since I had no way to sew it back together I used aluminum metal tape to seal the seams that were once sewed. I think it came out pretty good, and like I said Im hoping the intake air temps will be a little lower with these thermaflect sleeves. Last edited by Trips; 07-20-2014 at 12:27 AM. |
