301WHP/256TQ

Did the Fan Control Mods at 192/196/205. I hope this helps in the warmer climates! I was hitting 220+ almost every time I drove! And 225 on spirited driving. I never did go past this though.

Car drives much smoother, and seems to be more peppy. Hope the bogging in 1st gets better and I hope the CEL for hte HFC's don't come on anymore. (Was told it was because it was running too lean)

I haven't been very active on here for a while. It was mostly because of work and GF BS drama. But with a recent breakup I needed a change!

Truth be told, I have had the itch to get a GT-R for a while but just couldn't justify the cost.

Well prices have gone down a little but it's amazing how well they keep their value!

Well since I just paid off the 370Z I decided to start looking for a nice older GT-R in white and found one.

It's a 2010 Premium White with 42,000 miles on it. Pulled the trigger. I am keeping the 370Z as I put a lot of $$ into it!!!

GTR looks awesome, we've had a few at the shop with minor mods and they are a blast to drive.
Enjoy it!

I finally installed an oil cooler! I had seen some high temps in the summer and knew I needed to get one at some point but put it off all these years! Since I needed to take the front bumper off, I decided no time was better than now. I should of done this years ago! I decided to go the DIY route and went with the Modshack DIY:

DIY: Oil Cooler (scratch built install, lottsa pics).....>.

At $294 shipped, that seemed really reasonable and easy enough of an install. I bought a 11" x 4" 1/8th aluminum bracket and lined it up, measured and drilled holes.

Routed the oil lines on the right side and it seems to be much better. The lengths I went with for the stainless steel lines are 49" and 55". Used the KoolTools an 10 tool to install the lines and it was pretty easy.

Koul Tools AN Hose Assembly Tools 10 - Free Shipping on Orders Over $99 at Summit Racing

This seems to reduce the oil temps by 20 degrees. Now that the temps are getting cooler I am hitting about 180 on hard driving, and it hasn't gone higher. (65-75 degrees)
