This is my new baby, 2010 Black , 370Z Coupe.

This is my new baby, my second “Z” in two years my first was a black 2008 350Z Touring coupe. love both cars !

I decided I did not want the packages in their present configurations, like the touring or sports; I would like to do my own thing at my own pace and keep the weight and cost down!

I do plan on adding Front Chin, Rear Spoiler and Nismo Dual Cold Air Intake ,Nismo , Catback Exhaust , run out my 18” tires and brakes at that point go for the 19” wheels and Nissan’s larger sports brakes .

Love the car this time out, this one is a KEEPER!

Thanks for looking!

Alex

Skip the Nismo aftermarket performance parts.
Intakes: Stillen Gen III or Injen
Exhaust: Stillen, Fast Intentions, Berk, AAM, or many of the JDM brands

Nice looking car and congrats.

No problem.
A quick search and you will find plenty of threads on all the performance parts, and should help your decision in what you want. Looking forward to your progress. :)

Though I could always just recommend going straight to a supercharger or turbo setup.

Curiosity, why a regular leather bra over a clear bra?

Cheapest and quickest way to protect the car , haven’t ruled out the clear bra , have it on my 08 Infiniti G350 xS and like it a lot!

Thanks,

Alex

aww come on man, its even spelled correctly for you in your own picture.

regardless, thats a nice Z, always loved black.

Elia Cid 06-25-2010 07:53 AM

Well, I took the damn bra off. :shakes head: Just didn’t like the way it looked, I also felt the car wasn’t getting enough air during local driving, as well as the dirt issue. I still plan on putting the clear bra on and my still use the regular bra for longer highway trips till then.

Thanks

You took the muzzle off. Looks wayyyyy better! You gotta watch the finish on the MB paint, that bra would have scratched it more than protect it.

so how does the performance differ from the 2008 350? I know when I upgraded from my 350z I was a bit overwhelmed at the upgrade, I loved it....awesome car man

Thanks guys,

My first Z car was an 08, 350Z Touring black cope, auto, no mods. I loved the car and had many wonderful driving experiences. On one such occasion, in mid July, my wife and I drove the car from PA to Virginia loaded; it on the Amtrak car train and got off in Florida heading for Key West.

Driving with my wife, luggage in the back; car weighted down, the air conditioner on full blast; It was very hot and humid with the temperatures in the 90 to 100 degree range . I was easily hitting 100 MPH a few times on a straight-a way in an area known as Alligator Alley, it never even occurred to me that there was the slightest hint of any heating issues with the car.We arrived at Key West just fine and returned home with no heating issue.

Along the way I met my friend Tony and drag raced him with his G35 Infinity sedan, manual transmission and ran him to the ground. :roflpuke2: None the less I was impressed with his cars gutsy performance.

I was impressed on how rock solid this car handled and preformed at 100 MPH. Bye-the-way I had my radar detector on all the time on the road.

Regrettably,:shakes head: I had to trade the car in for an Infiniti G35 xS due to fear of not being able to use the car in the snow when going to work in the MT Pocono area. That being said, I swore I would at the first opportunity get back behind the wheel of a Z car again!!

I’m a happy camper now with my 370Z, haven’t looked back since! :tiphat:

Sorry for the long story,

Alex

Here’s my baby, love this car, it’s a keeper!

daaamn, u got a bra. lol i dont mind bras, im just shocked cause u dont see them anymore.

mrcardio 07-11-2010 05:58 PM

Why do you insist on calling a G35 a G350? Why are you adding an "S" to the "X"?

Your friends car is called a: Infiniti G35 Not a G350 and your Infiniti is a G35X Not a G350 xS. The "X" means the car is AWD and the "S" you're pulling out of your ***.

Lastly, Do you know how to drive manual or do you just like Auto's?

I usually don’t answer ******** but here it goes anyway!

True my friend’s car it is a G35, that being said I own a G35 xS , for your information the “S” represents an optional sports package I ordered with the car ,the “x S” is plainly visible on the back of the car.

Hi,
Just added the rear spoiler on the car and got my vanity plates on.

Now for some performances mods!

1. HKS Hi-Power Exhaust system

2. Generation 3 Ultra Long Intake Kit from Stillen

3. GTM Competition oil cooler kit.

Appreciate any comments on these upcoming mods, thanks.

Thanks again for looking,

Alex

Thank goodness you took the Bra off... Personally I've seen bras of that nature leave horrible scratches around the edges where wind causes it to rub.

SophiaZ 08-05-2010 12:47 PM

Gorgeous Z! I also got a base just to keep the payments lower and just becuz I had 20" wheels waiting for it; no need for the sport wheels

:iagree:

Had the same intent, to keep my payments down as well. I also did not want the added weight from the touring package and wanted my own wheels over the OEM wheels.

I also felt I could take my time and mod my way.

Questions:

How are the 20” wheels working out for you?
How is the turning radius and handling compered to the 18' and 19" , any issues, if so did you have to do any thing special ?

I've been thinking about FI exhaust, if the HKS turn out to be expensive! My main concern is the removal of the heat shield with the HKS!

On the FI, exhaust why not the 18 “resonators?

Any pictures of your car and mods.

Thanks,

Alex

Bullet1,
The funniest thing happen the day I took the bra off at a locale car show by the "Lost in Time Car Club", taking place at Friendly’s restaurant parking lot , Eastern PA.

I won one of the big trophies "Cruise Favorite"!

They said "Have the 370Z and owner pull up to the winner’s circle for photos". I couldn’t believe it so I asked the judge how did I win , It's just a stock car?
He informed me, it did not win best in show, but that it was voted the most popular in the show and that they had also asked passersby and Friendly’s patrons eating at the restaurant to vote as well!

Every time my wife and I look at the trophy we just giggle to ourselves, I still don’t understand why or how I won it ?

I guess the bottom line it’s not hard to get lucky once in a while with a great looking car like the 370Z!
