Did the clutch helper spring swap.
I was skeptical at first, but hey... I'll try any $10 mod just for chits and giggles. My impression? Do it! This simple mod reduces the amount of force pushing the clutch pedal up from the floor which makes it much easier for me to operate and engage the clutch smoothly between shifts and especially when searching for the the friction point for perfect launches. I can only guess that Nissan must have thought that the extra stiff spring they put on the clutch would make the car feel more sporty. For me, it just made the car a little more tricky to drive.

The Di-Noc looks great Wish someone around here knew how to do that without messing the car up. I really want my B pillar's and rear valence done.
Looking clean, sir! Last edited by speedfreek; 07-03-2012 at 03:18 PM. Reason: Can't spell today |

This was when the "Wrong Part #" factory locking lug nuts cracked on me.
I had some spare splined, black lug nuts that I slapped on there until the proper lug nuts were in stock. They had conical seats, but hey... had to work with what I had on hand.

Where did you buy the softer clutch spring? I'm assuming it should be the same for Infiniti clutches? I have a 2011 G37S 6MT
