40A - First wash
Hey everyone...this was just a simple two bucket wash. No claying, polishing, waxing, etc. I'll be working on those in a week. Then getting the clear bra installed.
The dirt I bought it with... Some stuff came in the mail today Rinse bucket after Two imperfections on the passenger door. Looks like Scratch-X could handle these...they're very shallow After Didn't touch the wheels, wheel wells, door shuts, hatch shut, etc. This was really just a quickie because I got new products and was itching to wash it. More to come, Adams |

Foam gun to make a lot of suds so you don't rub the grime INTO the paint -- BTW what brand is this? and how much? I need one. And a portable flourescent light to look for defects (swirls) in the paint?? Last edited by dropped1; 03-12-2010 at 12:54 AM. |

As noted, it's a foam gun. I bought mine from AutoGeek.net (no affiliation). Paid $60. I like it a lot, but I don't think I did the soap/water ratio right. It can foam better than I was able to do.

Very nice ride. Congrats on the foam gun, you will love it. I've had mine for some time now and love it. I don't mix the soap with water, just pour in your car soap and set it to the mix setting you desire. I use the smallest setting, works great. Also, I no longer use a two bucket wash system with the foam gun, it's not needed. Just rinse out your wash mitt in the rinse bucket after each small area you wash. I use a grit guard in my rinse bucket as well, just to be sure.
