It does not look like the springs lowered the car that much. Both pics looks almost the same.

Did you installed a rear camber kit and toe bolt? How is the ride?

Car looks Great. Really like the black chrome rims. Very sharp.

Love what you've done with the ride..! Who did you order the your LED's from? DB

Good deal Travis. NOW ANSWER MY PM LOL. Cant wait to see it in person next week.

You have one of my fav cars on this website now. Clean mods but still has a factory look, really nice choices, not too over the top. I need to stop dropping money in audio and get into performance/looks LOL.

OP, that pro kit drop looks like a 0.5 inch drop in those pics. your thoughts?

nice calipers!

Very nice looking Z! Excellent choice on color on both the wheels and the calipers.

+1. Wheels and calipers look great. Love how the calipers tie in with the interior. Nice.

Right, the Eibach's only drop it about 9/10's of an inch. Note too that this was immediately after the installation, so there was no time for settling in. Once I get this oil cooler situation taken care of, I will get some better pics of the space between the tires and wheel well. It should have settled by now.

The ride is just slightly harsher than stock. Not much, but I did notice a difference. Nothing extreme, you can just feel the bumps just a little bit more.

I did not install a camber kit, nor toe bolt. In fact, I still need to get an alignment. Which reminds me, I am going to do a full photo shoot of before and after the wheel alignment so we can see a true difference.

Thank you all. As you all know, it is an ever growing project. I really have to thank Mike (thepowdercoater) for the superb job he did on the calipers. I think the orange makes it pop and stand out behind the wheels. I did try to match the interior, but that is such a tough thing to do. In some light the calipers look slightly lighter than the interior, and in other light it looks dead on. Either way I do like how it pops. Also, I have to thank Glenn's Wheel Polishing for black chroming the rims. Again, these pics do not do it justice. I was going to take it to a decent location to do some good pictures of it this weekend, but now that I blew the oil line, that will have to wait.

I will get you guys to do my headlights in the future .. I've got some other things to work out first though. I haven't been able to work on my Z in close to a month now - I still need to finish putting on the spacers (H&R front stud replacement) and get the door handles color matched / painted. Plus, I am in the process of replacing all of the exposed nuts and bolts in the engine bay with polished matching nuts and bolts. THEN I can look to getting my headlights done. LOL

TipsZ 04-20-2010 08:08 PM

Finally, Sam from GTM confirmed that they have the newly designed lines for their Oil Cooler in stock and FedEx'd my replacement lines today. I can not wait to get them installed so that I can get her back on the road. Obviously, I plan to picture document the process for you guys. Once I get the Oil Cooler installed, it is time to try to find a paint shop to color match my wheels for the door handles.
