Alright its been a while since I have updated with anything, but my Z is garaged for the winter, and it just came back out couple weeks ago yet I have been having way too much fun driving it around again finally after a few months!

Hey so I FINALLY got my seat in today, after placing my order 5 weeks ago, with a promise that it would take no more than 2 weeks, but I gotta say I am impressed. Seat was packaged nicely, with no damage to the seat at all. Also ordered the seat with a 5 point harness which is of amazing quality. Also the carbon fiber weave on the seat itself is incredible, and is protected by 7 layers of clear coat, not one defect in this cf.

Although the customer service over at Status is shitty as hell (theres only like two people that work there, and they rarely answer the phone to answer questions and take a week in order to return phone calls) I have to say I am happy with the seat now that it is finally here. I ordered the Ring GT, which the GT is the version that is wider. Guy over at Status says its for 36+ waist size, I'm a 38" and I have to say I am uncomfortable seatin in this. Good thing I am awesome at loosing weight so give it a month and ill be down to a 34 and this seat should be perfect for me. (Just a heads up for any bigger guys out there thinking of getting BRIDE, those seats are smaller than even the regular status ring seats and I'm havin trouble gettin into this big one) BTW I am 5'11'' and 215 lbs as of now. The leather is very high grade and matches really well with the leather on the dash and around the radio/shifter. Also if you get it with white stiching it matches the cubby hole and side bolsters perfectly!

My exact order for the seat (since the awesome thing about Status is you can customize EVERY aspect of the seat and they dont charge extra for customization)

The fitment is a litte off right now, but nothing that cant be fixed within a few minutes. The weather stripping on the other hand does not line up, you need to either my your own holes for some of the tabs or use a lot of 3M tape. Also I think the holes for the windshield wiper nozzles need to be enlarged a little bit. But as far as the actual latch and stuff, the most important thing, it mounts fine, and the hood seems to fit the car perfectly.

I will be painting it but leaving the vents exposed with carbon fiber, and then applying a UV protectant clear coat.

That Status seat looks amazing, I really like how it almost looks like a racing version of the Touring seats with the suede/leather/white stitching combo. Your car is going to be CF porn!
