Sucks KW never made ClubSport version for the Z34. I've heard people complaining V3 being too soft more serious track use.

I want to copy your cooling setup. I want to do boost at some point. I wonder how well those ducts would work with a bunch of intercooler piping.

Yes indeed. My friend has KW ClubSport on 350Z and that suspension is in completely different league to KW V3. Here is a video of how much better it performs:

Clubsport is a real deal. In opposite to KW V3, it's tuned on Nurburgring, it has much stiffer, linear springs and proper top mounts. Clubsport is well suited also for trackdays, while V3 is strictly street suspension

One of my friends with turbo 370Z copied my set up. Here is how it turned out. He did it over the winter so it's not yet been properly tested.

That's my car-build and i'm gonna to test it on the track during the year.
These vent's are not appropriate from the air-flow perspective (inlets in bumper should cover 33% of the cooler to be efficient). My plan is to test it first, then adjust if needed (it's easier to cut another hole than to remove it :P)

Sorry for the delay. I hadn't checked this forum in a while. It's a fully custom solution. In the picture below, I've highlighted the telescopic piece in the 370Z steering column. My mechanic mentioned that we need to rearrange the mounting points, but I'm not entirely sure what he meant by that. He has performed this modification on multiple 370Zs, and he assures me that it's a relatively easy job.



I recently discovered another great modification. Since I use 280mm wide slicks and have a caster close to -10, the steering felt extremely heavy. I couldn't operate the steering wheel as freely as I would have liked on the track, especially at higher speeds. Fortunately, the solution is simple. By running a constant current through the connector from the steering rack, power steering is always at 100%. The results are amazing. The car immediately feels much lighter, nimbler and sharper turns require less effort. I highly recommend this mod to anyone using slicks or with a high caster. Finally the steering has perfect weight to it.



As a bonus, I'm including my latest video. It was my first time trying out wet racing tires (Hankook W52). I bought them used, and they were quite worn out, but they still performed better in the rain than any street tire I could have imagined. Unfortunately, I also broke the rear camber arm as soon as it got dry and I switched to proper slicks (Hankook C52).

Wow came across this randomly on YouTube and then the link to your build. Don’t know how I never saw this one on here before but this is one impressive build. Your driving is equally impressive and staying with the new C8 video if you were boosted I can’t even imagine how quick you’d be.

Thanks. Yeah, power is the next step for sure, now that I've got the handling sorted. I'll tackle it after this season's over, but I'm still not sure which way to go. My ultimate goal is to switch to a beefed-up naturally aspirated engine, like a 6.2 AMG with a dry sump setup. Once I'm done with driving for the year, I'll start thinking about how to make that happen. I'm steering clear of the forced induction route because my main gig is keeping the car reliable and squeezing every ounce of seat time I can.
