main and midcities. you know it's close to you

XwChriswX 01-21-2010 04:51 PM

That tint looks wicked, almost looks like its not even glass.

AK370Z 01-21-2010 05:02 PM

Big congrats man. Car looks great!

You need to post a video of your lights working in the evening. So, how do you like the Gen 3 intake?(throttle response) Also, compare to stock, how does the eibach springs feel?

I'm happy with it. Just waiting for the tickets to start rolling in.

When I figure out how to do video on my cam I will. As far as throttle response its hard for me to give an accurate comparison. On the drive home from having the intake/springs installed is when I FINALLY came out of my break in. It does seem to have a bit quicker throttle response but i suspect i'll see a greater impact when the underdrive pully and hfc's go on. The springs in my opinion seem to ride pretty close to stock. The drop on the pro kit is only .8/.9 respectively.

I love the car (and color). Makes me wish I wasn't under a foot of snow...

NonStopTuning 02-11-2010 09:38 PM

Very nice looking Z! Let us know if you're ever in the market for an excellent pulley kit.

zentropy 03-17-2010 04:45 PM

Finally got my wheels. Also blacked out all of my badges since my last update. For those who might ask, car is dropped with Eibachs, and am currently running no wheel spacers. Wheels are Axis Angle 20x10 and 20x9. Tires Falken 452 245/30 front and 285/30 rear.

Reaaaalllllly slow at work right now lol. Counting the minutes. This site keeps me the most sane at work since I kind of work alone or only with one person.

zentropy 03-30-2010 02:45 PM

Got bored and decided to black out the front orange marker.

Thanks! That's the look i'm going for. I've got one more idea that I think is gonna look killer once I get it done.

vipor 03-30-2010 03:40 PM

What'd you use to black out the reflector? I'm assuming that you just did something on the surface and didn't take apart the lights just to do that.

antman22 03-30-2010 03:40 PM

looking forward to seeing what you have planned next! what area of DFW are you in? I haven't seen your Z around cuz I would definitely remember it heh. You do the work yourself or do you have a shop around here that does it? I plan on doing mods in the future and would like to find a reputable place.

I used VHT Nite-Shades tint spray. Just cleaned the surface with alcohol, masked off the area and got after it. No way am I gonna mess around with taking headlamps apart. Those things are far too expensive.

I'm in the mid-cities area. I work North Richland Hills and the Arlington area, just recently started dating someone in Garland. I'm all over the area. I've done the small stuff myself the other stuff was done by Jotech. As others have previously stated, yes they are expensive but the service i got was top notch and wouldn't hesitate to go to them in the future.

Anthny2040 03-30-2010 09:38 PM

Man car looks awesome! I think blacking out the inside of your headlights, and tintings your tails would really look good!

sktvietdragon 03-31-2010 03:12 AM

I think i'm actually done as far as blacking out things. There has to be a little contrast.

It was some car audio place in North Richland Hills on Rufe Snow. The shop name escapes me know. I'll found out.

Probably "Crank It Up!"

fullmonty 03-31-2010 08:03 PM

I love it man!

labk888 05-21-2010 01:17 AM

Zentropy... Your car looks sick!!! Did you install a rear camber kit with the eibach pro springs? How's the rear tire wear so far?

docaam 05-21-2010 01:30 AM

nice Z man...its pain to keep a black car here in the desert (more then TX ) :)

just need to know your response of these wheels, how was the feeling you changed and drove the car, as i was in fact still am planning to go for these but thought might be heavy and will feel slugish? appreciate your reivews

ResQguy 06-13-2010 09:46 PM

Dude, that thing is sex on wheels. All blacked out looks siiiiiiick. Have you considered putting on spacers to make the wheels more flush?

zentropy 11-25-2010 01:29 AM

I was initially going to go with the Greddy drl kit but opted for these instead.

When I ordered them I ordered a quantity of 2 not knowing they were sold in pairs. Since I had and extra pair I figured i'd try something out. My window tint is dark, so dark that backing up is uhmmm interesting. Wanted to see what backup led's would look like. Not sure if I like them or not.

http://www.the370z.com/members/zentr...6-imag0224.jpg

Install for both front and rears from start to finish was about 3 hours. The strips are much more affordable than the Greddy's and look great in the evening, though if you're looking for actual drl's they are insufficent in my opinion.

Jamaica 11-25-2010 02:01 AM

looks good. especially the rear.

zentropy 05-29-2011 01:46 AM

Its been awhile since i've updated so here are a few pics after the Tein basic install. The rears are all the way down and the front has about a half inch left.
