Cool spitfire9200's Monterey Blue Z

well I thought I'd finally share my Z after I washed it/polished/waxed it. It's got some subtle paint mods, that's all.

- OEM Sport Rays were painted here locally in Vienna, VA. It's a 4 stage paint, blue, silver, black, and gunmetal with a ton of metallic flake (they look black in the pic). They look great in the sun. I figure i'll just get them painted until I feel like powder coating them.

- Had the front "fangs" and rear exhaust area painted a satin/flat black.

That's all for now. I plan on getting a sound system and an exhaust soon. Also window tint to match my wheels =D

I also want to black out my headlights...

2thextreme, I live very close to you, but still haven't seen your Z!

anyhoo. Enjoy!

ps. I know I need a new camera. I have a sh*tty olympus... haha

I want to paint the fangs/rear exhaust surround also. I may try it myself but might just have it done. Do you mind me asking how much you paid?

Again, looks good

This. I would like to know this too as I pretty much want the exact same thing done.

I've been using the same guy for paint since my first car about 5 years ago, so my price point probably isn't a good one to reference to be honest.

I think a shop would charge you between $250-$300 on average. (based on shops around here that usually charge upwards of $500 for a whole bumper and it's kind of a tricky place to tape off)

Anyone in the Northern Virginia area know a good tint place for cheap?
