The Berk Technology 135i is suffering from electrical issues so it didn't make this last weekend's Redline Time Attack event up at Infineon. I decided to take my 370Z and enter it into Street Tire RWD class to get some points since points go with the driver not the car. It rained all weekened which leveled the playing field and I ended up winning my class by over 12 seconds in my bone stock Z! While that may sound cool, a lot of the fast "regulars" in my class weren't there and if the event were in the dry, I am sure the results would have been much different even with the cars that did show up. With the points gained and only one more round to go, I am officially the 2010 Street Tire RWD Champion!
The oil temps kept in check simply because of the lack of throttle I could apply in the extremely wet conditions. If it were dry I don't think the car would have lasted a full lap. Here are some photos from the event which show how wet it was, and it was worse than this at times... In other 370Z news, Paul Dentice and AE Performance killed it yet again in the Enthusiast RWD class in the wet without traction control or ABS.

Well I haven't had it in hot weather yet, but my old raw aluminum one got pretty hot in the Vegas summer. It doesn't get freezing cold though but again I haven't had it through a full winter yet. As for pics, I am waiting on my "color pack" so I can put a red washer on top to match my GTR engine start button haha.

Aluminum retains less heat than steel or most other metals so it won't get as hot as the seatbelt. Plus it cools off faster.
