On a personal note...
Spy Optic came back on as a personal sponsor for my driving efforts in 2010! And I re-designed my website... Bonanni Motorsports | Home As for the car. Finalizing my 2010 vinyl layout for the car this week and will get it applied next week in time for the Berk Technology Charity Ride-A-Long/Hellaflush 3.5 event. The new livery will be colored to match the new 2010 Berk Technology Time Attack 135i livery since the 370Z will be on display in the Berk Technology pit area at all of the time attacks this year. The layout of the sponsor logos will be MUCH simpler than in the past. Going for a crowd pleasing "clean" look. Parts wise, all I am waiting on is the SSR SP3 wheels to get built and delivered. I am also working on a few new sponsorships for some exciting parts, but who knows if they will happen.

It's pretty easy overall but it does require some understanding of code as it pertains to variables and functions. Using a combination of XHTML, CSS, PHP, and .htaccess you can make a site seem like it's much more than it really is. Makes it very easy to expand and modify too.
Alarm Express, Inc. I made this site for my old work and got massively underpaid for it. They effed up the logo/header some but the functionality is all there. Look at the "directories" and the links. Then look at the source code. It abides by all standards, and displays almost 100% identical across all browsers.

When it comes to understanding or reading code I am pretty much clueless, especially if its something other than basic HTML. CSS, PHP, XHTML...no clue. I really only know how to copy/past code and do stuff in Dreamweaver that has a button, like changing font color lol.

Mike, you should look into jQuery. It's an open source Javascript library that simplifies regular day-to-day Javascript, as well as AJAX, DOM manipulation and effects, animationand, and etc. You don't have to be a web developer to use it. It's simple enough that web designers use it too. You just have to take some time to learn it. There is plenty of documentation and tutorials on their website and there rest of the web.
The majority of rich content websites use jQuery. You probably have forgotten about it by now, but I used it when I made that demo website for you a few months back. I mainly used it on the image slider and a menu hover effect. Good luck. ![]() |
