After grinding. Looks like you got some thin spots. You pokd some holes. Where you don't have holes. How thin are those areas?

IT'S A MATCH! AMP EFI IGN-1A meet Motion Raceworks coil bracket. Gonna be some sweet sweet spark and bang action going on soon.

Coil packs mounted and intake bolted down. Motion Raceworks coil brackets look nice on the Holley valve covers. Some progress is better than no progress. I'm slow *♂️. I also try to think about future placement of turbo plumbing, wiring, hoses and etc... Guess that accounts for some of the slowness. I'd rather do it right.

Fun fact. It is possible to put the coil packs on the wrong way if you are a dummy. Note to self: Don't be stupid, stupid.

The mil-spec connector (shout out to Maven Performance) appears to be an awesome idea after all. The space where the battery was located is going to be the home for the mil-spec connector.

My shortlist needed now are EGT bungs (8 for sensors), Ignition Coil connectors and GM LS 58x Wiring Harness

That should conclude most all the wiring components I need.

Reset the depth on all my used EGT sensors (used literally once). Previous owner had them set way too deep. Test fit the headers with bolts in so I can get my accessories figured out. Looks like I'll have a low mount alternator, that's all. I'm looking to get a junkyard electric power steering pump. Holley/Lokar drive by cable adapter attached to the twin intake.

EGT bungs (8 for sensors), Ignition Coil connectors and GM LS 58x Wiring Harness have been ordered today...

AND

Holley Premium Alternator
Holley Beauty Cover
Dirty Dingo Low Mount Bracket

I'll see how that goes prior to getting the ATI Super Damper.

In every picture it looks like the runners on that manifold are skinny A.F.

The manifold is huge. And the runners are no smaller than the cathedral port. Check this N/A test out by Richard Holdner:

+37tq when compared to the truck manifold, which is the go to for boosted applications. That or the high ram.

Damn those are some solid gains.

It has to be the perspective. i know it doesn't make sense for a twin tb manifold to have smaller runners than say the high ram - but my brain is telling me it looks funny.

Pictures really don't do the intake justice. It's yuge. Hopefully I will have this turd beast at Zdayz so everyone can check it out.

I was told that my accessory drive must be finished prior to completing the turbo plumbing. : So I dove in the last few days and got it all figured out.

I found a rad company that has top notch brackets. I dipped my toe in the water getting the alternator bracket. After getting the first piece in and reading over all the reviews I could find, they appear to be top notch. The bracketing allows me to low mount both the AC and alternator. Power steering is going to be mounted in the normal position but will have a small billet pulley.

I've never seen an unboxing of an ATI Damper. If you haven't, like me, now you have! 😁 As silly as this sounds... This is one of the icing on the cake components that I've always dreamed of having when I do a "build".

I should have all the accessories buttoned up soon. THEN the turbo plumbing can commence.

I just spent an embarrassing amount of time putting an ATI Damper together. I looked at the damn damper and thought to myself, "That's a ridiculous spacing." Turns out it was ridiculous... The stub shaft has to be flush with the front. 🙈 Live and learn.

Had to take off the timing cover and paint satin black. It didn't look right with the 417 water manifold and intake.

Someone asked me on FB why I did an ATI Damper. I pretty much directed them to this video.
