Yes, I have elegant piano hands. Missed my calling as a stand in child hand model.

Valve covers came in today. (further cat inspections)
If anyone says "LS Swaps are cheap". Direct them to me. I'd like to personally spit in their eye. Last edited by gbrettin; 03-15-2019 at 09:33 PM. |

Part 2 of drilling and tapping the oil squirters. I also knocked off the cast flashing so that debris would not come off during operation.

No. People have been putting 800 hp to them for a while. The axles do need an up grade over 800 hp.

Main bearings in so that I can mic the crank and main bearing clearances. I'll get to the measurements tomorrow, didn't have a whole lot of time tonight.
Check out the before and after machine work on the crank! It's been polished and perfectly balanced so that I can spin 9k+RPM. Last edited by gbrettin; 03-26-2019 at 10:22 PM. |

Internal, or external balance? (with or without dampener and flywheel) Did they have to add weight anywhere. If they did. Did they use Mallory metal?

It was balanced with the flywheel and they had to add some weight (which adds $$$ fast). Not sure what kind of metal they used. I don't have my ATI Dampener yet and was told it should be ok.

When adding heavy metal. The cost can sky rocket. Or kill a crank.
