Engine breakdown done... now what? English bud. Did your engine blow up? Or you're done with engine break in period? For mileage. I see 120. So you have 120 miles on the car, or the picture isn't showing the full reading? If you only have 120 miles on the car. It's not done with the break in period. Start the car, put a brick on the gas pedal and walk away from it.

As the title states... now what? Go fast fasty? What's fast fasty supposed to mean? You want to go fast, but don't know how to do it?

Time to buy a Honda...those things are fast as fock !

Lol good lord, is this for real?

Oh well, we should cut OP some slack...it's his first sports car and he came from a Corolla.

Man I swear some of the new(er owners.....will the great 370 path the way as the new Honda Civic? Oh Lord I hope not lol.....some of these new questions and comments. Sheesh use your forum etiquette!! 😀😀

Well... just figured I’d throw something out there for the more “trolly” forum users. Reached 1,200 miles and per the user manual that is when you are “safe” to redline the car.

And yes I know about forum etiquette. It’s just that sometimes I feel a little “trolly” and go back to my old “kid” phase. :)

You didn't breakdown your engine, you drove it easy the first 1200 miles to break the engine in, according to the owners manual. Some people do this, some people don't wait to give it some, ignoring the break in guidelines.

Just a friendly suggestion, start reading a lot of older threads here on this sight as they can be very helpful to learn about the car. You sound a bit noob and excited about your car. Do plenty of research about what you are driving and learn all you can.

And, lastly do not do anything dumb on public roads where people with families may get hurt. If you want to go "fast, fasty?", TAKE IT TO A TRACK!

Yeah. I know. I literally was trying to sound extra “trolly” but yes I am a bit noob. My first sports car. And yes I meant engine break in.

You shoulda left rubber leaving the dealer for proper break-in. Now your car is configured for driving slow, sorry but you ruined it. :driving:

You just ruined it for me. Thank you. I’m going to go buy a 1992 civic now and go rice it.

Can't argue with 50mpg. You're doing the right thing.

Chasingstatus 06-26-2018 12:59 PM

This thread is trash... I miss this forum 2009-2015....go be a little "trolly" (seriously though?) on YouTube, not a place where 100% you will have a question about the car. People literally come here in their free time to help others, not be trolled.
