Just wanted to post a little update here. The car is doing great, just doing some minor things to it to keep it in shape. This weekend we took some pictures because it was nice weather during fall:
And my friends twin turbo nismo: Also my Fast Intentions exhaust had a little modification lately. I mounted 2 boost-controlled wastegates to bypass the exhaust. The sound is brilliant as the flap only opens above 3PSI of boost. So cruising and low RPM its nice and sporty - not too loud. I want to recolor the persimmon leather. I cant find any pre-mixed leather dye online for persimmon, so i will probably have it custom made. 2) My suspension (KW v3) is new, so are my Hardrace FUCA's and SPL rear arms. I want to give everything else a refresh and thought of this list. So my car started to run lean at a certain point. Like 12.3 or 12.4 under boost, and then even up to 13.5 with ethanol. I mounted a walbro 450 earlier this year. Fuel pressure dropped to 38 psi on idle.
I took the pump out on the advice of Seb and checked the fuel terminals. They looked bad, cables brown around the terminals. This seems to happen more as of the 450lph pumps have a higher demand. For now I have drilled two 9mm holes in the tank hat and made two new connector terminals. Fuel pressure went up by 10+ psi on idle! So learning: when going 450lph: use the CJM hat (it has an upgraded 40a rated connector) or adjust your fuel hat. Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk
