Default yaoxiao4's first car and first journal

Hello!

About a year ago I bought my bone stock 2013 370z Touring-sport 6MT with CPO from a Nissan dealer. It's my car and my first manual transmission vehicle (pretty much learned manual on this). Since then I've done some stuff to it, but definitely want to do more. So here's my journal

Car has seen some light tracking but mostly spirited mountain drives

Engine/Power:
- Stillen Gen 3 Intakes
- FI Catback 18' res
- EcuTek hand tune
- Uprev Tune 322WHP

Suspension/Brakes:
- Eibach front sway bar
- KW V3 coils, half inch drop
- SPL front camber arms
- SS brakelines
- Carbotech XP10 front XP8 rear brake pads
- Z1 2 Piece slotted rotors front, 1 piece slotted rear

Exterior:
- Authentic Amuse Front bumper
- Aeroblitz Custom Front splitter
- Blacked out lights with switchback Halos
- Fly1 CF side blades
- Shineauto partial CF AMS rear bumper
- TE37SL 19 inch pressed graphite wrapped in RE71Rs
- APR GTC 300 Airfoil with Gurney Flap
- Seibon TS CF Hood
- CF Fujimura rear diffuser
- FairladyZ Badge
- Fly1 Full CF AMS wing
- Evo-R partial CF 3 piece front lip

Interior:
- Red dome lights
- Bride Gias II Driver seat

Misc:
- Whiteline bushing

Future plans:
- Z1 CSC Elimination Kit (Thanks for the suggestion Chuck33079)
- Fujimura Authentic Amuse front bumper
- Stillen Supercharger
- Short Shifter with custom piston shift knob
- SPL Suspension parts

I don't want to be that guy, but you might have better luck waiting a couple years before you open that can of worms. What you've already got is a very quick car for a first car. A boosted Z is seriously fast, and the penalty for fuckups is a lot higher. It doesn't take much for it to throw you off the road backwards.

I'm not saying "don't do it". I'm saying "don't do it yet". Keep up the track experience and just get a lot more miles driven under your belt before you go thinking about making the car keep up with sportbikes.

Also, your future parts list does not include a new CSC. Just expect it and have the funds set aside for the day you get in the car and the clutch won't come off the floor.

appreciate the advice, I'm definitely going to go to the track at least a few more times NA. Something tells me I'll realize that I don't need power after those track days

Yeah, these cars can become a handful at high power levels. I drove mine daily for a long time, and there would still be the occasional "code brown" moment.

Wrapped the stock wheels in 275 PS4S today, looks like the front rim got swallowed whole

Nice!

Is laguna is scary as they say it is on the corkscrew?

I missed out on a buttonwillow wet track day by a weekend. Would have been fun trying to drive the Z in the wet... until 1 wheel peel.

It's fine when you get used to it, mostly because of the fact that it's a blind turn and you kinda have to guess where you should point the car at. I bottomed out there in my first session :P. Also did not dare to turn TC off

Awe man thats the best part though. Leaving every corner on throttle counter steering just a little bit. Definitely would either given you "code brown" or a giant smirk on your face.
