Hello!
About a year ago I bought my bone stock 2013 370z Touring-sport 6MT with CPO from a Nissan dealer. It's my car and my first manual transmission vehicle (pretty much learned manual on this). Since then I've done some stuff to it, but definitely want to do more. So here's my journal :) Car has seen some light tracking but mostly spirited mountain drives Engine/Power: - Stillen Gen 3 Intakes - FI Catback 18' res - EcuTek hand tune - Uprev Tune 322WHP Suspension/Brakes: - Eibach front sway bar - KW V3 coils, half inch drop - SPL front camber arms - SS brakelines - Carbotech XP10 front XP8 rear brake pads - Z1 2 Piece slotted rotors front, 1 piece slotted rear Exterior: - Authentic Amuse Front bumper - Aeroblitz Custom Front splitter - Blacked out lights with switchback Halos - Fly1 CF side blades - Shineauto partial CF AMS rear bumper - TE37SL 19 inch pressed graphite wrapped in RE71Rs - APR GTC 300 Airfoil with Gurney Flap - Seibon TS CF Hood - CF Fujimura rear diffuser - FairladyZ Badge - Fly1 Full CF AMS wing - Evo-R partial CF 3 piece front lip Interior: - Red dome lights - Bride Gias II Driver seat Misc: - Whiteline bushing Future plans: - Z1 CSC Elimination Kit (Thanks for the suggestion Chuck33079) - Fujimura Authentic Amuse front bumper - Stillen Supercharger - Short Shifter with custom piston shift knob - SPL Suspension parts |

Soon will be doing consultation on Stillen Supercharger, if anyone has experience shoot me a PM! |

I'm not saying "don't do it". I'm saying "don't do it yet". Keep up the track experience and just get a lot more miles driven under your belt before you go thinking about making the car keep up with sportbikes. Also, your future parts list does not include a new CSC. Just expect it and have the funds set aside for the day you get in the car and the clutch won't come off the floor. |

Wrapped the stock wheels in 275 PS4S today, looks like the front rim got swallowed whole

Drive mod, wet day at Laguna Seca
|
Quote:
Is laguna is scary as they say it is on the corkscrew? I missed out on a buttonwillow wet track day by a weekend. Would have been fun trying to drive the Z in the wet... until 1 wheel peel. |

I think I might have.. except as soon as we came out of the pits this happened
so I think i got a little scared being my first time at a wet track and first time at laguna https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YTY7w9EnXDA |
Miatas should be hustling in the rain.. I think there was a certain lack of #Driversmod

New wheels!
|
Beautiful 370Z you have there I really like those wheels congratulations. If you plan on one day installing a Stillen supercharger kit consider a upgraded clutch and flywheel. The South Bend stage 2 clutch and billet steel flywheel from Z Speed Performance would be my first choice.

Side note, got my Z1 Slotted 2 Piece rotor front, and 1 Piece slotted rear |
Second time at Laguna Seca (last time before it comes WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca)
Cooked my rotors and got fuel starvation (ended up being my best time too) hoping to break into 1:40s next time out |
Sweet car man! Bummer we missed each other at Laguna!

Well I achieved my goal this time! 1:49 at Laguna Seca (4 seconds faster than my previous PB)
In between the track days I got rid of the Amuse wing for an APR GTC 300, can definitely feel the rear end being more planted and some understeer, turned TC off in the last session and car definitely rotated better on a couple of corners one mistake I made was not checking tire pressure, it wasn't until the last session when my instructor checked and all 4 of my tires were at 45 PSI (yikes) didn't get many videos this time but this is a gorgeous shot from GotBlueMilk, heck I might frame this https://imgur.com/ex2A0TT.jpg |
Sick shot! And sweet time dude! I'm hoping to go sub-1:50 next time I'm at Laguna (won't be for a long time sadly, moving to AZ).

New Seibon TS CF Vented Hood, hopefully this will provide a little bit more frontend DF before my splitter is installed and slightly more cooling
|
Last Laguna day of the year I promise! Onto Sonoma next
Bested my PB once again, hitting 1:47 consistently with a virtual best of 1:45, here are a couple of laps (including passing a GT350!) Also spun out at T11 for the first time, tried power sliding out but ended up overcorrecting and spun the other way |
AMUSE FRONT BUMPER FINALLY ARRIVED! took 4 month wait but it was worth it, added a splitter too. Now I have issues with getting out of my driveway...
just in time for thunderhill track day in a couple weeks! https://i.imgur.com/NmTOWS1.jpg |

One beautiful and clean Z you have there take care of it. Make the Z Speed Performance CMAK your next modification before it’s too late.

Car's looking awesome man!
|
the amuse front bumper looks great! trying to find a good deal for one too :(
|
Hit up Thunderhill West twice in the past couple months, what a great track! probably better for lighter cars but I had fun regardless

What's not to like?! |
NON Z RELATED ALERT:
Sold my NA Miata and picked up a 05 AP2 S2K as a daily/autocross/backup track car https://imgur.com/tjsiARS.jpg |
Back to Laguna after 5 months, picked up 2 seconds and had a great battle with a Superleggera
|
this sad day has come, will be parting out parts of the car and then selling the car after :(

but I love Zs and will always love them, I learned how to drive stick on this car, first track days, and who knows, maybe I'll keep the stock car as a daily driver :) |
