Thanks, man....you better! Planning on going with Full Zele. Considering the amuse spoiler but Ill need to do a few photochops to see how that will look with zele. RS1 Vented Fenders, and side splitters. Hood, maybe AMS GT Hood. It will be a good year or maybe more though. Right now Im pretty much done with the car. I literally took all the money from the G and its parts and put it right back into the Z. Besides small parts that might get Hydro dipped or replaced with CF versions for the interior, Ill be waiting that year. Sh*t, the exterior alone is gonna run another $10-12k after purchase, fitment fixes(if any, hopefully not), and paint. good hearin' from ya Waiz. |

Got my SPL arms in today. Had a set of faulty arms from Z1 and they were happy to take them back. I went ahead and got what I was originally planning on getting. I took it as a sign to just buy them. Get credited for the Z1 arms once they get them back, which makes sense.

This is actually the fastest I have ever moved to get this far into a "build". 6 months of ownership. Yeah though, the rest is slow merely to save up the money. |

already put these pics in the media section but they belong here as well!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Spent a few hours out last week to get a photoshoot done. A friend wanted the challenge of getting pics of a black car at night. A couple shoots he wasnt sure of due to blown out sun or being too dark but he ended up trying to salvage them. We also had a renta-cop come bother us so we lost about an hour of sunset shot potential. |

Exactly. That would be 1/5th of the price of the exhaust when I picked it up used! FOR THE TIPS! Just not justifiable (for me) at that price! I am hopeful to save some cash during a Black Friday sale.

Thanks goes to Ravspec for the Work Lugs. This is my second set of door handles being painted. The first set were not OEM and they barely rotate enough to unhinge and open the doors...and the passenger door lock button doesnt work either. Not sure why I didnt buy OEM to begin with...

My Shine Auto (amuse rep) kit finally shipped out. I have the utmost confidence in their parts. Reading back almost 10 years on them, when these forums were much more populated.
The kit I really wanted was Zele but I couldnt commit to the price or having pay to make a quad exhaust for the rear bumper. I also ordered front and side splitters to help with that illusion of looking lower. OH and I also got a tune through Z1 about 4 months ago. With my Motordyne exhaust, art pipes, and stillen intakes, they got the are to 321/270 wheel at 5.2k rpm Might as well share the most recent pics I took, after a wash and wax a month or so ago Last edited by Zerafian; 05-25-2020 at 11:21 PM. |

The timing on your comment, Waiz!
Well, I took it to a top shop right near ATL about 3.5 months ago and they wanted to charge me over $18k............. Incoming bad grammar and typos They wanted to pull pieces off the stock body, custom fab mounting points where they didnt need to exist, and so many other things. Tthey didnt know WTF they were doing and I have ZERO clue how, having recently installed doluck widebodies on so LC500s right after I dropped off my car. The biggest example is the amuse spoiler. Two weeks of having my car, they didnt know there was a light that custom fit the spoiler. They were trying to charge me thousands to custom fab the stock spoiler light into the amuse spoiler. These guys were idiots. They had my car for two weeks and didnt do anything. I told them Day 1 to contact me immediately, if they thought there was going to be a fix that cost an extra $500-1000, since I was on a budget. I let them do their thing and never heard from them. I finally called them, 10 days in and nothing was done. In the end I got $1300 of rentals refunded from them, since they knew the issue day one and never called me or attempted to contact me. Along with the manager posing as the owner, never correcting me and he had no understanding of modifying a car. I was dealing with the money guy the entire time, not the actual owner. Fast forward 2.5 months later, I finally dropped the car off about 25 minutes from my house. A shop, what felt like, in the middle of no where. A couple guys that are body shop guys and own their shops for 20+ years recommended this shop. I got a way better vibe from these two older guys running their shop. They actually came by my house and went over everything They actually sent me initial fitment pics, today. Last edited by Zerafian; 09-08-2020 at 07:13 PM. |
