It's in! Was a solid 6-7 hours of work to get everything bolted in.

Check list
1) Make some small adjustments to the hot side intercooler piping which was expected
2) Extend one of the intakes
3) Install injector harness, upper intake manifold & cold side piping
4) Install bumper & head lights
5) Install shifter
6) Fluids
7) Flash basemap from Husam
8) Vacuum & recharge AC

Wife says I'm not allowed to go work on it today so I'll have to finish up in the nights this week.

Side note for anyone considering the GTR turbo conversion with upgraded turbos, stick with the stock compressor housings, the S13/14 style compressor housings barely made it.

Drivers side clearance

Passenger side clearance. It look's like it's touching the frame but it's not.

It lives! I forgot I only got 8 quarts of oil and proceeded to drain it after warm up. Some dust on the oil drain magnet but nothing to be alarmed about.

Tomorrow I’ll fill it up and go datalogging.

Filled it back up this morning but spotted a small leak. The oil pressure sensor port threads got stripped, that's what I use to feed the stock oil and Innovate oil pressure sensors. So I welded a 4an bung over the hole, seems I left a pin hole.

I'll clean it up and luckily the torch head can get in there to fix it.

Once that's done I need to wire in the head phone amp I got off amazon to the knock sensor using the uprev instructions.

Finished it all up and drove it home. Big turbo life is different, the difference in spool is very apparent but it was 57% tps and this is just a base map with very conservative timing.

Very excited to see what we can manage to extract from the car in the days to follow.

Well reusing that cracked manifold that I had repaired has bitten me in the ***. The crack has opened back up so I'll be parking the car for a bit while I locate a drivers side turbo and get the exhaust manifold to FP to machine for the GT28 turbine wheel. I am not too bummed since by the time I locate one and it manages to arrive here in the current situation, my garage will be finished and I can do the swap at home! Pop this Danmar M6 lift's (I've had in the spare bedroom since october) cherry the right way.

Also since I have nothing else to do on the car, I wired in the knock sensor earphone jack.

Well not much to report. I have a garage now so I can finally work on the car at home. Still waiting on my roll up door to arrive but for now it's functional and comfortable with a 24" oscillating fan. I have a 2 ton split unit installed and working so it will be REAL nice when I can avoid sweating to death.

Car wise. **** this car. It turns into a straight 3 at 6500rpm for some reason.

Wastegate pressure ~12psi on these GTX2871R's is a hoot up to that point. I can't wait for Husam to crank the boost to 16-18psi and get the boost coming in sooner. Once I can figure out what's going on we are shooting for 650whp on pump and 800whp (keeping tq as close to 600wtq as possible) on ethanol.

The company I work for has purchased the 1/8th mile drag strip so there is an actual future for it now.

After the car is fixed I'm setting myself a 1.6 sec 60ft goal on the current suspension and tire setup. Once I can do that consistently it's 350z base brakes, Forgestar 15x10's, 28x10.5 slicks, BC ER dual adjustable coilovers valved for 8k front 6k rear and a Z1 toe arm. Seem's like a lot to get a 10th off the 60ft but in the 1/8th it's no real room to track anyone down up top.

So while figuring out that ******** I took mental breaks from that by installing the awesome CJM dual pump hanger.

I am using a Walbro 535 as the primary since it has no check valve and a 525 secondary. Both pumps have the Holley hydramat socks on them so I shouldn't run into fuel starvation issues

I realized this was overkill after but it's there to stay. 6ga wire with a 50amp circuit breaker feeding the 2 relays. Bolted them to the underside of the shelf above the fuel pump access panel.

4psi hobbs switch that I'm hoping I can adjust to 10psi for the secondary pump

Sexy dual pump hanger fresh outta the box from Fedex

The problem child herself.

I mounted the lift's hydraulic pump on the wall and made up some different hydraulic lines for the lift so I could run them along the ceiling. With the pump on the trolley it comes with, its just too low to use comfortably for me and having the lines on the floor would just give me something else to trip over.

Yeah just under 4ft. It's no full height lift but for my purposes and ceiling height its perfect.

I like it. Certainly a giant improvement over jackstands and laying on creepers.
