My 2010 Sport

Well it was a fun day of racing on sunday. I am horrible at drag racing also it would seem. Trying to slip the clutch properly was proving difficult and I need to shift quite a bit faster, more seat time is definitely required.

The setup was as follows:
245/40R19 tires on stock 19x9 sport wheels
275/50R17 M&H drag radials on 17x9 R33 wheels
Fortune Auto 500 coilovers 10k front and 12k rear rates with damping at full soft
Hotchkis sway bars still connected all around
OS giken GT street twin plate
Running the ethanol tune so max effort from the motor

For some reason I was getting wheel spin even at 11psi in the radials.


Please don't judge the car on my poor performance as a driver

The plan is to do the following for the next event:
Raise the car up an inch and get it re-aligned
Possibly swap out the springs to 8k front and 10k rear (down from 10/12)
Disconnect the front sway bar
M&H bias ply front runner tires to swap on to a pair of stock spare 18x4 wheels
Hoosier 28x10r17 bias ply slicks to mount on the R33 wheels

I am sure with those changes and practice I will get a decent 60ft and be in the 7's consistently and see if I can work my way lower.
