So I took the car to the track last weekend after swapping on some 315/30R19 Michelin Sport Cup 2's on the rear. Needless to say my clutch was not happy and has given up as of today.

Drove up there with 2 of my friends, the Black mustang has pretty much everything done to it and the Roush stage 2 supercharger, the FRS has the Edelbrock supercharger as well (he really needs to get the header & exhaust upgraded) The good news is I can beat a supercharged FRS

This is the only strip we have and it was disused for a few years. Thankfully we have access to it again so we are trying to get it back to a usable state with timing equipment etc

Zspeed stage 3 kit was ordered today

Should see it before january hopefully.

It's not THAT bad....i do need to raise it about a 1/4" though. Will do that when it's in the air for the clutch job.

4 weeks later! Clutch kit is here along with an b&m shifter. The last wheel I was waiting on arrived as well so I am going to get the 4 of them painted so I can finally get go square.

BMW Pyrite Brown....closest thing I could find to Forgestar's bronze burst

Unfortunately it's raining here now and my work area isn't covered.

What a job. Definitely couldn't have done it by myself like my Miata. Transmission is heavy as lead

Initial impressions are positive, there is NO rattling noise at all from the flywheel & pedal effort is pretty much the same as stock. The B&M shifter is great, no buzzing or anything from that either.

Can't wait to go put some mileage on it later

After a morning in traffic my observations are

1) there is some resonance/noise around 2k which I expected
2) it's a bit juddery to slip at the moment, can't wait till it's broken in
3) I need engine and transmission mounts due to #2

The wheels didn't get painted so I decided to just mount up the old rear tires on the new to me 19x10's anyway.

Car is slowly getting to where I want it. Next up are some new tires, sways and Z1 engine/trans mounts.

P0430 code came up. I really didn't want to have to get an exhaust or tune till all the turbo stuff is put together.

I might bide my time with some resonated test pipes and a reflash....

After quite a few years hiatus and abandonment our 1/8 mile strip reopened. It's still in a little rough shape and there was no timing equipment so it was pretty much a call out type situation.

So I gutted the cats and got a tune from Seb @ specialty Z.

I didn't win a single race but the important thing is I looked good losing (and had loads of fun)

Waiting for my friends to show up so we could convoy on the drive

Coming back down the return "road" after getting my *** handed to me

The civic was B20 powered on nitrous.

Don't have a shot of any of the other races I ran yet but I'll update when I get them

Finally got the wheels painted and some new tires on.

It look's like gloss black unless the sun is out or you're up close. I love the look.

In other news my GTR turbo adapter kit will be here monday and I'm on the look out for some turbo's.

A friend that bought an intercooler core for a project he no longer has decided to drop it off to me this weekend.

A nice Vibrant 25 x 11.8 x 3.5 core. Mocked it up and figured I'd give it a shot.

Obviously not to scale but you get the idea

Also a potato pic of an adapter from Husam

Turbos, oil & water lines, oil cooler, exhaust, fuel pump, injectors and a tune. Maybe I'll be boosted for 2018 after all
