Day 88, 11,169 Miles
Installed LED interior lights (ice blue) and LED rear license plate lights (white). Had a few of these spare lying around so figured I would swap out the stock bulbs.

Day 89, 11,175 Miles
Another quick install today, took care of the trunk light in the same color as the map lights:
Also placed an order for the heritage edition stripe decals (just the sides, not doing anything to the hood or roof at the moment.) They should be here at the end of the month. |

Zoey went on a diet today and lost 2Ibs 7oz. Followed DEpointfive0's DIY post to remove the trunk counter weight:

Day 92, 11,199 Mile
Painted the engine cover to match the car. Also sold the old wheels from my Sentra. Didn't get a lot for them but enough to put in an order for the EVO-R rear fog light and door handle covers. More updates soon to come. Last edited by BlackElectric; 09-25-2017 at 11:14 AM. |

Day 98, 11,231 miles
Parts from EVO-R came in early yesterday! Was planning on getting a head start on Forza Motorsport 7 but I was too anxious to put on these handle covers and the rear fog light. The number one thing I disliked about the Z was the flat aluminum colored handles. It looked cheap to me so I figured the EVO-R carbon-fiber covers would do nicely, especially on the white. I wired the rear fog light break wire to a switch I installed in the cabin so I can turn off the flash function when in stop-and-go traffic. Also installed two dummy switches as place holders for future use. Other minor updates include the LED backup lights, replacement license plate frames and stem caps. Just about out of minor alterations to the car. The heritage-edition style side decals should be here in the next few days. After that it will be a few months till I can pick up the fast intentions exhaust/coilovers/spoiler. |

This happened much sooner than I expected. I found out I was paying $60/month more than I should have been for insurance, plus I'm getting more hours at work now. Did some math and found out that I could afford to pick up the fast intentions exhaust!
I just placed the order this morning, going with stainless steel all around, 18" resonators w/o the 100-cell cats. I cannot wait to get this on, I'm tired of my 2011 Sentra having more growl than the Z. Looking forward to a nice, deep tone without having to wake up the neighbors on a cold start. The heritage edition stripes still aren't in despite the expected delivery date being the 3rd. Still weighing if I want to put them on or not. We shall see. I've also got a couple other things ordered, including oil filler cap and something never before seen on the 370Z! (At least not from what I have seen). Will be keeping it a secret but am hoping to make a DIY if all goes well, stay tuned! |

Zoey got some interior and exterior work done the past couple days. Hand-stitched a cover for the rear tower bar and applied the heritage edition side decals which turned out better than I had been expecting! She is starting to shape up. Now I am just waiting on the fast intentions exhaust which isn't supposed to come in until January.

I've got about one more month to go before I should be receiving the Fast Intentions CBE. I also added resonated test pipes to the order since in the, so far, two months that I've been waiting for the CBE I've been able to scrape together more funds to blow on the car.
I've decided I am going to do the test pipe install myself. I've been reading forum posts, watching install videos, and adding a couple tools to my collection getting prepared to tackle the dreaded "Demon Bolt". I'm hoping with the car only having 10k miles on it, it won't be so seized up and I plan to let it soak in penetrating oil for a couple days prior. I'm so ready for the months of waiting to be over. Will update when the tear down of the stock exhaust has begun. I might even have a couple fun little projects to do before then. Stay tuned! |

I didn't see an LSD. It might be helpful in putting down the extra power from the supercharger!

Like what you did with the rear bar, haven't seen that before, very nice.
You have a G37S as well?

Sadly not anymore. The G37 was my fathers but it was totaled a couple days ago. Currently it's just my Z and my Sentra which I use for my daily. |
