ZELDA in Arizona - BrokenSkyV's 2009 370Z Sport
Hi everyone! My name is Dan and I figured I'd go ahead and start a thread on my 370Z that was purchased in JULY 2017. She was bone stock other than wheels when I picked her up. I wasn't going to buy a 370Z as my daily driver, but I got a ridiculously good deal on her from a private seller...so I could not pass it up. Tucson is definitely one of the best places to have toys like sports cars and motorcycles. I'm also hoping there are other members in AZ on here! 2009 Nissan 370Z Sport Package aka ZELDA (girlfriend wanted to name her) K51 Color Code Modifications: Performance AAM Competition S-LINE Short Tail Exhaust System Beluga Racing Resonated Test Pipes Exterior: Front Lip Rear Spats Blacked Out Headlight Housings (Personally taken apart) 20% Window Tint All Around Interior: White LED Lights Conversion DC Sports Gunmetal 400g Counterweight Knob Wheels: ZEDD SL5's 245/40/19 19x9.5 fronts 275/35/19 19X11 rears More to come! Only had the car for a little over a month. Before and after. I've since made some cosmetic repairs myself since she wasn't perfect to start with. http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n...pscwqofjeo.jpg After https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4346/...b301b450_b.jpg370Z X by Dan Santamaria, on Flickr https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4357/...0286ea03_b.jpg370Z XII by Dan Santamaria, on Flickr https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4334/...0ff20951_b.jpg370Z XIV by Dan Santamaria, on Flickr https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4357/...0286ea03_b.jpg370Z XII by Dan Santamaria, on Flickr I took this shot after I installed my new shift knob. https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4400/...9c868493_b.jpg370Z Interior IV by Dan Santamaria, on Flickr https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4417/...eb6f5693_b.jpg370Z Interior I by Dan Santamaria, on Flickr https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4416/...0b399b3c_b.jpg370Z XIII by Dan Santamaria, on Flickr My Exhaust Comparison Video: My FLICKR Photostream: https://www.flickr.com/photos/54385050@N08/ Skyrocket Photography |
Looks good, Nice wheels, Great start, Needs a drop!

Thanks. She will be staying at her stock height. My Corvette is lowered and it sucks to scrape everywhere I go, especially my driveway.

This was when I swapped out the dented fender. I found one an OEM K51 fender on Ebay for a decent deal. It would have costed more for a PDR tech to fix the old one.
http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n...pssyzj2gru.jpg I also had to sand the headlights after having them apart for painting. They had the usual oxidation. http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n...ps487fxqes.jpg I also had the stock non-Bose sound system replaced recently. http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n...pszht2fnir.jpg She could use a little bit of cleaning since I got caught out in a light rain over the weekend. http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n...psnk8myone.jpg |
We went up Mt. Lemmon here in Tucson for our anniversary lunch!

Prepping anything for painting is definitely time consuming and tedious. This was the prep before painting the lip and spats myself with some color matched paint. I left the center black.

I just received my resonated test pipes in the mail from Beluga Racing. I'll be installing them this weekend. I ordered some o2 extensions as well to keep the CEL from coming on. I'll definitely get an exhaust clip up after the install.
http://i850.photobucket.com/albums/a...psmpq3aosd.jpg The overall craftsmanship looks really decent especially for the cost. http://i850.photobucket.com/albums/a...psqohaghjl.jpg |
So after a long afternoon this past weekend and the help of my girl and a friend of mine. We were finally able to break torque on the cat-header flange bolts to finish off the install of my beluga resonated test pipes. They make a huge difference in sound and the tone is much deeper.
