It depends on what you what to get out of it. Nice looking DD, A fast DD, Track rat, etc. But once you start. Sometimes things go sideways. Then you go down the rabbit.

The minimum suspension mod requirements to meet this requirement: front sway bar, FUCA, rear camber arms and coilovers. After that we will see you at the bottom of the rabbit hole.

Still need to do passenger side. I have a brand new pack of discs for the grinder and I cant find them. I tore everything in the garage and basement apart looking for them. Will have to see if I can find some locally today.
EW complains about me not letting him help work on the car so I'll have to let him give me a hand when it comes time to riveting the vents in place. Last edited by madwi; 02-17-2019 at 06:36 AM. |

I recommend a reamer on those cut edges. I have a cheap one that works wonders. You going to coat the cut edge with something? |

I have a sheet metal deburr tool that I will break the edges with. Yes to coating the edges. Not sure what to use. I need to stroll about the paint aisle at the parts store.

You could cold galvanize it. They sell it in a spray can at Home of Pot. I just spray some of it in a disposable cup and brush it on. Be careful with where you set the cup down. It eats thru a solo plastic cup of you just leave it sitting there. Last edited by jwick; 02-17-2019 at 06:21 PM. |

Mad that looks great ! Is there going to be a center vent? I think it looks good without it.

That’s how we did the rivet holes on the track car when we deleted the sunroof. Last edited by jwick; 02-17-2019 at 09:19 PM. |
