Weekend started early for me this week so I decided to do a few things around the house.
Finally got the PC mounted up and will do the hard lines for water cooling this winter. |

Tomorrow we are taking off the AAm TPs and fitting the Fast intentions HFCs that has a bung welded on them for the AFR gauge. Should have that up and working too.

[QUOTE=madwi;3689286]Attached garage is getting insulated and drywalled. If anyone heats their garage with either natural gas or electric let me know what you use!
My garage is 20' wide X 22 " deep, insulated, with an insulated 16 foot wide door .I came across a new, in the box, Hot Dawg 45000 btu gas heater by Modine on another forum. Fortunately my gas meter is just behind my garage , so it was just a matter of drilling a hole in the wall & running a line to it , plus the exhaust pipe which was the bulk of the job. The btu rating is overkill for a garage this size , but it was a good deal at the time.In the winter, which is normally damp & mild, I can be in shorts & a T shirt in 7-8 minutes from start up.If I'm washing the car , I'll set it around 60-65 F. Gas use is negligible & doesn't seem to affect my bill. It's about the size of a Canadian 24 of beer. Their website has a good variety of heaters. The garage has been totally cleaned up after this pic was taken. |

The Z is getting put away for the winter. I have to decide if I want to keep it or possibly trade it in for a vette. Not sure which direction I am going to go as I havent touched the Z in months. Here she sits as of now, nothing changed since last post.

Tell you what will happen if you get the Vette. You will drive it for awhile because it's a new thing to you. The newness will go away. Then it will sit just like the Z.

I've been torn all summer, barely had time to drive it. There have been plans to talk with Phunk about some engine work with some bits and bobs added. Then it will be like a new toy all over again. I love the look of the Z, that hasn't got old at all to me. Hell, I still do the look back when I park her. Last edited by madwi; 11-21-2017 at 10:53 PM. |
