Oxford's Wolfe [full build thread -- subscribe to stay updated!]
Hey, the370z! :)
I'm oxford_wolfe, I have a super cringy YouTube channel at the moment that I never have time to update, and I love making music and doing all sorts of cool things. Feel free to call me Michael! :) I'm from the east Dallas area (from Sunnyvale, TX, actually), and I've been in love with Z's since I was a little kid. My uncle had a 350z, my mom had a 300zx TT, my step dad's brother had a 280zx, and now I've got my beautiful 370z (and I'm actually looking at doing a 240z build, too....). I know it doesn't suit probably over 80% of you guys' personal tastes, but I've always been a fan of the stanced out/hellaflush/drift scene. I mean, since I was in middle school and early high school, I've literally dreamed of owning a Z. Well, years later, here I am! :) I'm very proud to be a part of this community. I've had my car since she was a mere 4 miles old; in fact, I got her October 1, 2014, and I just hit 18,000 miles yesterday. I've been a lurker on here since I joined up until fairly recently, other than a few questions asked here or there. Anyway, with all of that aside, I thought I'd share how my build is going. In the end, I hope for it to be a nice little showcar with bags and a neat setup in the trunk and all that, but for now I'm just looking for a really great street setup. It may not be your taste, but that's okay! I completely understand :) I'm not going to do anything stupid to it, just some nice, tasteful modifications haha. We'll see how this turns out! |

Here are the most recent pictures I've taken of my car. Maybe when she's got a little more done to her, I'll get a pro to do it. For now, my amateur photography skills will suffice! :)
Current modifications are... well, pretty much nothing. All I've done to her is install non-res Berk test pipes. I can post a before/after video of the sound and all that (driving and not), but now that I've let it kind of "settle" or let the gaskets burn in or whatever happens, it sounds MUCH better. Not sure what it is. Other than that, I've just tinted my DRL's and reverse lights with Dragon Laminates' Neo Silver (or Neo Frost... I can't remember, I have both but I've only opened one and they look the same to me haha). I'm also working on a pretty hefty project so... you'll definitely want to stay tuned for that ;) Hope you enjoy the thread!! ----------------- http://i.imgur.com/tQGXRGTh.jpg http://i.imgur.com/89boz77h.jpg http://i.imgur.com/x3ZWn6Ah.jpg http://i.imgur.com/dSaBWEah.jpg http://i.imgur.com/iOT1Bqbh.jpg http://i.imgur.com/KebAZmEh.jpg http://i.imgur.com/CAtKNCYh.jpg |
Reserved post for custom short tails install/pictures
It will happen soon! I'm taking two summer courses at my university because I changed majors from mechanical engineering to computer engineering. I'm enjoying it (so far haha), but boy has the past month or so been rough... The final day of classes are on the 23rd, so I'll definitely have my tails on by then. I'm hoping to go back home this weekend (or next), so there's a chance I'll have them on at that point, too. Stay tuned :) And also, if you have any suggestions/critiques/questions (at any point during the build's lifetime), feel free to shoot me a PM or anything like that! I'm always available and usually am good about replying :inoutroflpuke: EDIT: I didn't get a chance to take pictures because my GoPro died and I had already started (it was kind of late at night, too). So what I did was charge it up all night so I could take some videos driving around and even got a couple of startups in there, too! :) It's SUUUUPER loud IRL, but it sounds pretty tame on camera.... trust me :rofl2: Here's a link! :) |
I like the funky film on the reverse lights and DRLs.
