Or after the storm passes we gonna grill out at your porn-star-esque mansion?

I know the GT-R is one fast mo-fo, but I just don't like the looks of the body. The twin turbo 6 should be in the Z and the GT-R should be the Z body. I drove the GT-R the same day I purchased my Z, just couldn't get past the cold looks of the GT-R despite the sweet power... Was a little concerned with tuning and potential problems as well...

GTR looks great imo but I need a manual gearbox especially for that much money. Paddles just don't do it for me, even after law school when I God willling make real $$$ I'm going to pass on any exotic that doesn't offer a manual. As my little bro said, "The guy in the paddle shift will be faster, but the guy driving the stick will be having much more fun!"

I'm with you smallywood. I bought the GTR sight unseen to some extent. Did the credit, worked out the crazy loan etc etc all over the phone. Went in, spent a good hour just looking at the car and as crazy as it seems the other 3 (YES 3) they had in the parking structure. Just Couldnt get my hands around the looks. On the other side of the showroom sat the Nismo, I loved the look immediately, bought the car and it was so cheap compared to the GTR that I didnt even bother negotiating much, all in about 30 minutes.
The GTR Power is all good but I have no aspirations to hit 190MPH. I'm 100% certain I can get this Z to have the same power and my own styling cues for much less then a GTR in the end. $7500K down and 1350 a month compared to zero down and 550 a month with super low interest just made it that much easier

Adam, I wanted to reply to this post yesterday but I kept forgetting.
First of all, I'm dam glad NO ONE talked you out of paining your Nismo Z34 because the new paint job is simply amazing! Not sure how much it costs, but it's probably the most jaw dropping appearance mod to the 370Z till date. Two thumbs way up So, what's next?

Hey Tyrell, been running around and tied up at work but I'll take a stab at it this weekend as I'm just hanging local for a change (wish I was boarding but too many kid functions going on)
Hey AK, long time no hear brother. Thanks man, appreciate the compliment and obviously I'm pretty thrilled myself. Next...... For the most part the emphasis is going into my 67 Datsun Roadster. Likely going silver with a couple stripes over the hood (wheel to wheel not front to back). Looks like were going with a Turbo'd SR20 motor which should put out a good 350-400 HP. Expect it should be pretty fun considering its a sub 2000 lb car The Nismo, going in for a little touch up this weekend. I'll do the Turbo's when the right deal comes along but outside of that I'm pretty much out of ideas and a little over budget so rather then go over the top I think I'll just enjoy it for a while. Promised the wife we'd fix up her Rover sport so I'll likely take the foose wheels off since tires are done anyway, go black on the stockers, black out the grills and she'll be good. She loves that look ever since that Rob and Big show..HAHA. My Rover lease is nearly up so I'll pick up another "something" mid year, nothing too crazy. Really liked those big Titan's that showed at the Fontana meet but I suppose I have enough Nissan's/Datsuns for now. Hope all is well. I have something I need to talk to you about down the road a bit. I'll look you up soon. Keep in touch man. No more fancy cars this year for me...

It's soooo bada$$.
For me though, it's like this really really hot broad with really ugly feet. I just have never liked gold rims. However, I wouldn't kick that broad outta my bed and I sure as hell wouldn't mind cruising around in that beast of yours. Congrats on a job well done. |

A little advice from an older guy...
If that ever happens, have a few more drinks first and you'll never even think about the feet HAHAH Thanks brother. PS. Wheels are a little different, I'm just glad their not gold like initially called out, the dark bronze I can live with and for me I don't want to completely "murder out" the thing so its all good. You're ever out this way and feel free to take her out. Should be especially fun with the motor is done (going to be a while though)
