Pictures from the track! Didn't have a photographer at road atlanta but these are from Barber motorsports park.
I have on order poly trans/solid motor mounts along with the new SPL traction arms, SPL diff bushing, and some other small odds and ends. note: the silly tire decals and ones along the side have been removed; was a joke amongst my friends at the track ;) https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4592/...20b6389b_c.jpg25398375_1820096254698880_4787219076431558910_o by Kenny Moss, on Flickr https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4597/...e2eed2db_c.jpgDSC05118 by Kenny Moss, on Flickr https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4734/...c14df91a_c.jpgIMG_8185 by Kenny Moss, on Flickr https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4733/...6dcdd349_c.jpgIMG_8785 by Kenny Moss, on Flickr |
Recently put Volks on the car! CE28SL 18x10.5 +15 wrapped in Hankook RS4s Went with a square set up and took the car to the Dragon today to test it out a bit before my track days in March. LOVE the look of the 40 series side walls.

Finally got around to painting the headlight housings. Kind of upset I didn't do this earlier as it was extremely easy and gratifying.

Didn't realize you were such a good photographer. We have to get the Nismo's together one day for a shoot. My brother is opening a 10k sq ft. motorsports and bodywork place by west town mall. It's in the buildout phase for offices and showroom area but the rest of the building is still industrial looking. Would be a good location to do something like that. Lighting isn't the best though.
Couple of questions: 1. On the Z1 CAI, was there a lot of modification that needed to be done on the Nismo model? I would like to go that route if I don't have to cut a bunch of openings. 2. The headlight housings look great. Was there a particular DIY you referenced? There seems to be a lot of different ones. Not sure I have the guts to do this but it looks so good I'll give it a shot. Thanks |
Recently changed up the aero balance of the car. Jumped on a great deal on some Finite Element Design canards (don't want to talk about the number of holes in my bumper right now :ugh2:) and put an Aeromotions 72" static wing on the hatch.

nice setup man! what camber are you running and what tire size? I put a 18x10.5 +15 on my z with stock upper control arms on coilovers and it sat out a decent amount. looking at like -2.8 degress camber right now
