More Mods to my Nismo...love this car!
I posted some of these already but under the wrong section so I'll delete that thread.
Anyway, had some people email me a while back on how I we put the sub in the wheel well and since I had to pull it apart for the new tailights I knabbed a couple photos. The hardcore guys out there may freak over the weight of the box but its not really too bad and considering the spare is gone I would rather have it a little more planted in the back as the back end spins too easy as it is. The cover board is rather thin and light and still allows me to put things on top. Just used tiny air staples to hold the back down. Today's mods... New Clear tailights, carbon mirror covers and carbon door sills. I really dont like carbon covers but couldnt find mirrors and thought the carbon hood looked plain by itself. So...mods thus far: FI Full Exhaust with HF Cats, Stillen long tube intake, carbon hood, clear taillights, carbon mirror covers and sill plates. Alpine system with DVD, 4 new speakers, 2 small amps and a 12" single sub. In the mail.. Waiting for a Ti shift knob, carbon pillar replacements and drilled rotors, perhaps a flywheel?? Perhaps springs to lower it a tad?? Next week, goes in for tint and probably going to do the wheels in black. Eric from the PS Thread showed me some pics and looks great! Coming along good so far, what do you think? Dont want to go overboard on the mods but needed to personalize it a bit

Thanks...so tempted to get those Rims Kevr but I think I'll try and black mine out first. I worry about a thinner profile tire as I've bent too many rims in the past. Here's another pic of the tailights.

Thanks man
I like that idea. I'll have the shop look into that when they paint the wheels black. Yeah, Garage is dirty but took me a week to bend all that diamond plate for the walls. I don't sleep but 2 hours a day so I do all this sh#$ when my family is asleep. Built a Guest House last month in the back next to the pool, built a huge fireplace, built a 12' movie theater screen on the other side of the house....I'm running out of projects so the Nismo is the flavor of the week right now. HAHA PS. Neighbor has a 16 car garage! No kidding and he has it all full of exotics, I'm the poor one on the street

Let me know what parts you want pictures of and I'll add them to the list. Not much else to it other then the box and the head unit. Love the Alpine set up, my next step is to add quick disconnects so I can pull it out when we do track runs..
I'm on board with the paint, going to have the rims Powdercoated black, paint the one area and put the rest of the work under the hood..Fast already but could always use a bit more! Thanks for the compliments, getting there!!

So, how's the weight difference on the CF hood vs the stocker? Kinda been wondering, it looks quite nice, sir.
I think my intake comes in tomorrow but sigh, precipitation will be hindering an install for now. (curb side self-mechanic FTL) |

LOOKS fantastic! I like it.
I want to see more pictures of the Sound system please. Also, Did you say 4 speakers? NEED more pics . I just spent last 10 minutes making this on MS paint. (ERIC if you see this , don't shoot me! ) .. What do you think about a cf stripe like this? (there are tons of vinyl cf available on the web) The cf should follow the angular hood lines. Great journal
