Very black, very nice

Just a thought, if your trying to show off how nice your polish job is, wouldn't it be better to not have it sitting in the shade??

Absolutely! but I was pressed for time and it was more of a whim to take the pics. I wanted to do some cool back drop with the ride pics but I think I need some time and work on finding a good place. I got a new black Turtle wax kit today that I gave a shot and it came out pretty nice! It was only gonna be a quick clean and then I got all into the detail. You know how it is!:tiphat:

LoL Yeah, it usually takes me all sunday to get my car all primped, with the Washing, Drying, Waxing, Interior and polishing... Fun stuff..

I Use the ICE product line for the wash/wax/detailing myself...

that ice wax, in paste form at least, sucks for light colored colors. If that sh*t gets in the creases of your car and you miss it when getting the wax off it stains that part blue...I had it happen to me. I stay away from that form of "Ice" wax...there other stuff is pretty good though.

I have been using the ice but I saw this special kit for black cars from Turtle wax. It was a two step waxing thing but then I get all crazy with clay bar and then I'm in too deep! Only thing that sucks is I get to intimate with the car and see a few new F@#cking rock chips on the nose. I swear this Z is a magnet for rocks! I gotta get out the touch up paint tomorrow and finish the new rock chips!

OMFG, Don't tell me you really use that shitty foam wax **** on the Z... :shakes head:: (someone post up the pic with the hand on the head)
Use normal wax and take care your ride especially cause it's black! I hope I don't hear that you wash your ride in a circular motion... :ugh2:

Meguiers NXT Generation wash, clay, and tech wax puts a nice finish on the PW. Speed detailer for clay lube. Not a super hi-gloss look, but wet enough and very classy. Highly recommended.

I'm not sure what you mean. I would probably understand better if one of you fine gentlemens would come out and detail my ride for me and I will watch and learn!!! I'll buy the beer!

I use them on my Black Sand Pearl (Black) tC and let me tell you, it looks goregous when it's done. And I make sure to go through every seam inspecting for polish buildup... but that's what I would do with any polishing.

I hear you on that, front bumper, hood, and both doors all have rock chips. They wouldn't stand out if it was a lighter color car, but yeah on black, its a serious eyesore. I need to get some touch up paint myself. A kit specially for Black cars... I will have to look into this :icon14:

Ok to clarify, NO I DO NOT USE THE FOAM WASH. Please give me some credit here :bowrofl: It was just the only good pic I could find that had Most of the products I use... And yes don't worry I do take very good care of my baby. (However not a Z yet, just a few more months of saving to go. )

I used to use that until I saw the ICE come out and everyone said that was the sh!t. LoL On another note the ICE has a very distinctive smell to it lol.
