The Mag Z Build
Hey everyone,
Thought I should start my build thread nice and early so I document my build. I took delivery of my Z last Saturday (01/30/16) I'm new to Nissans and Zs. I am coming from a 2009 Audi A4 2.0T 6SPD. Like all Audis, it started giving me problems so it was time for something reliable lol. Before I sold the Audi I had done a fair amount to it in the short time that I had...stage 2 APR tune, intercoooler, short shifter, Rotiform wheels, quad exhaust, test pipe, coils, etc. : And now my Z! Here is a pic before taking delivery: And then when i brought it home: I have already started modding and it's been only a week I've had it lol. Started with the badges. Did a black Z badge and Fairlady Z badge along with reverse light tints: And GTR start button and a Pioneer AVIC-8100NEX headunit: I also just bought a fast intentions exhaust and hfc, wicked CAS sub enclosure and Stillen CAI. Will post pics as I install everything Last edited by TheMagZ; 02-05-2016 at 10:16 AM. |

Thanks man! I actually got mine used off another member. It's the one with 18" resonators (not CF) and the HFC with resonators. I actually just got my Stillen CAI delivered which I also bought used off the same member. I'll be installing that tonight and then the exhaust tomorrow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I'm already very excited to subscribe and keep up with this thread because it sounds like you made your research and are buying some mad quality parts. Keep at it! Would love to see more!
Oh and congrats of course!

Just installed my sub, amp, and wicked cas enclosure. I'm going to be honest, I'm not too impressed with the enclosure. The carpet they used looks and feels cheap, the fitment isn't great and there's a gap (even with the carpet removed and the liner), and the hole they made did not fit my sub so i had to make it larger. I even tried another sub and it was the same story. Generally speaking for a 10" sub, it's best to have a 9.25" hole, not 9". For the money, i expected a lot more. The Mag Z Build
Been MIA, just bought a house so its been keeping me busy with the running around involved. Got my HFCs installed though and will getting an UpRev tune tomorrow. Will post a dyno sheet once done. Heres a sound clip for now. Sounds good in the video but even that doesn't do it justice. Sounds 10x better in person. I don't even listen to music when I'm driving at this point lolhttps://vimeo.com/160393824

Many others here can attest to this as well. I'd hope your tuner shop is familiar with it too. Here's what EcuTek offers us EcuTek - Nissan 370Z Many more options than UpRev
