Thanks for the comments guys
And with the Rotas, I would love to change them out for some te37's or even a style change to some works one day, but cannot justify the extra £2k + atm, will happen one day but there are many other things to tick off the list first |

So long time no update... copy and pasted from other forum..
So a few (belated) updates. Firstly tackling my dash light issues and my 'loose' steering wheel. So a visit to Sly@Kaizer was in order! Shortly after having the car Sly and the guys got to the bottom of my issues. The airbag light was caused by a broken spiral cable, which also caused the steering wheel controls on the right hand side to not work. This was ordered and fitted on my next visit a few weeks later. My loose steering wheel was literally a loose bolt, in the steering collumn. They also picked up on the rear droplinks which needed replacing and that the toe bolts were 350z ones, which are slightly shorter than the 370 ones, so they didn't reach into the locking part of the nut. Again these were ordered and replaced a few weeks later. Which we then discovered that the toe bolt hole still needed elongating to allow for the additional adjustment of the eccentric washer. With regards to my annoying bonnet pop up light, I was feeling optimistic with my new cancellors fitted. I was even armed with a replacement ecu module. However the diagnostics revealed the cancellors loop out the bonnet actuators, stopping it from firing, not the sensors and the system itself. Meaning the only way to clear my light, was to replace the 3 missing sensors... £1300 from Nissan. :scare: However, a continual search led me to a breaking 370, that had no front end damage! So here we are, 3 replacement sensors.. Lets hope this does the job! Just want to say a huge thanks to sly and the guys for their help and advice with everything so far. When sourcing the sensors in particular the breakers and I had several queries and Sly was always there to help! I also have my rear fog light now, and along with my sensors I got the backing plate for the foglight so I can get that on soon now! |

Another update was my exhaust! I finally have the GTR backbox fitted! A welcome milestone for me was being able to take that awful oem system off. On my way back from Kaizer I went to Pipecraft, who I had previously spoken with in detail about this. Another place I would highly recommend.
Unfortunatley I haven't really got any pictures as my phone had died at this point. I must get a better picture and of course a video clip! The original plan was to replicate what I had on the 350. Mid pipe silencers out, GTR backbox in place of OEM. As mentioned earlier I had already cut everything off in preparation this time. Once the old backbox was off and we offered up the GTR one, we had a change of plan. Being a bit of a tool, and trying to go one better than last time, I thought it would be a good idea to get a nice shine from the backbox. Which I was taking the right steps towards, however it turns out that everything on the system is only mild steel, the box isnt stainless As i previously thought. The one of the 350 remained nice was because I only 'tidied' that one up.... not starting to sand off what turned out to be the protective layer.. We opted to separate the 2 cans that make up the gtr backbox, and put each one in each midpipe. and have the backbox area as straight pipes. The advantages to this were not having a potentially tarnished box on show, much more direct airflow, and of course a much easier job fitting it, as to do so meant having to have pipes loop over/under each other. The setup is basically the same as before just the other way around. instead of straight pipe then backbox, we effectively have back box then straight pipe. Its interesting though hearing the difference in sound of the 370 in comparison to the 350. Will have to get a video up of them both together some time! |

So the car is going to be having some more changes soon! Its currently in for some suspension changes as I have finally made the leap for air suspension. I cannot wait!
Gone with the Airlift performance struts, 3/8 lines, 444 compressor and 3p Management. Been playing with the mobile app now for the past month or so, cant do anything with it yet obviously... but I am excited  Should be a nice update come the weekend! So my barely used Torqen coilovers will be up for sale shorlty, and maybe some of my Amuse kit if theres any interest? |

So, I am buzzing! Big thanks to Car Audio Security! They were great with everything, customer service and the install itself were all spot on! So yeah, this happened...
And the boot install (needs a clean from where I loaded it up to get everything back). Hardware is all hidden underneath the new floor, with half a tank on show, and being half boxed in it gives me a good usable space without having to worry about bits bashing into the tank or anything Had a chance to have a good play with it last night. Using the app I connected up my phone, which connects and operates flawlessly, enabled the rise on start feature and also played around with my presets. Safe to say I'm very impressed! |

So after not being happy with my bodykit I made the jump and went for another
I was noticing more and more differences between the amuse rep kit I got from RT and the real/alternative ones. The rear bumper I currently have is far less aggressive in just about every aspect, the side profile is completely different too. I also noticed the side skirts were similarly subtle compared to what is usually one of the more aggressive side skirts for the 370z. Measurements told me the sides will sit an inch lower than the rear and will flare out a lot more too. The front bumper was probably the worst offender under this logic but I was set on changing it to the mk1 nismo anyway (which was always my plan from the start) I Love the amuse kit and its one of the things that drew me to the 370, just not my one. So as I needed to import my Amuse wing anyway, I combined the shipping and made up the rest of the parts from Shine. So my order with Shine: -Amuse Rear Bumper (Carbon Accent) -Amuse Rear Wing (Carbon Accent) -Amuse Side skirts Also made the order through Sly to get my Nismo Front bumper with arch liners. |

So still waiting on the bumpers and wing. Looks like it could be another 3-4 weeks off yet. A quick snap of the car the other day as the carpark lighting really bought the pearl out!
The front nismo conversion can require quite a list of parts to get it all fitted, so I have made a start by buying Parello's spare nismo lower OE splitter And a couple of required brackets, which I got from ZSpeed. They are made from thick stainless steel unlike the oem ones, and still much cheaper than Nissan items |

Had another package arrive last week! ZSpeed aluminum undertray for the nismo bumper.
The bumper requires a different undertray anyway, and the stock item is madly overpriced so thought I'd take the opportunity to go for the allumium one. Advantages of this is the increased bumper rigidity it gives, something I liked from having the Torqen item on the 350z. Other added perks it has a quick access hatch for oil/filter changes and also a vent to channel air towards and accross the oil pan. A win win I thought. Unfortunately I have a small oil leak coming from the seal on my propshaft, so I am booked in to see Sly @ kaizer again on Tuesday to get this replaced, fluid changes and to pick up my new front bumper |

So, I was at Slys a week or 2 ago to get a fluid change, fit my bonnet pop up sensors and check out an oil leak that I had suspected.
Good news the sensors worked! So no more error lights on the dash for the first time since ownership Next was to look at that leak. They found the seal between my propshaft and gearbox to be leaking. As it was a slow leak and the seal needed to be ordered in, I arranged to come back and get my fluid changed then. So I returned to Kaizer, got my seal done along with a P1. And also picked up my new front bumper! Some very nice GTR's there too! B) The plan was to go straight to the bodyshop with the bumper and drop my car off. This was going to tie in nicely as my Amuse kit from Shine was due to arrive within the week. It did. Thankfully Jak was a top guy and came up with me to help take the bumper to the shop, and then me home. There was however a miscommunication though as when I met him in the morning he was in his S2000.. Tried as we did the bumper doesn't fit in an s2000 :surrender: So had to call on Elliot was also a top guy to offer his courier services with his golf. Undertray in the Z. Front diffuser in the s2k and bumper in the golf. We made our way to the bodyshop. Which is where its left ready for the new kit. (rest was still on its way) A big thankyou to both Jak and Elliot for their help today, appreciate it guys! A couple of pictures a friend took outside a mates house the other day also: |

So picked the car up from the bodyshop today, and I love it! Elliot was a top man again as he kindly went to pick up my remaining nismo arch liner from Slys and deliver it to the bodyshop for me, thanks again for that mate! And thanks to the guys at Legends for their work on the Z!
Fully intend on going out with the camera and getting some more pictures but heres a few iphone ones from when I picked it up. |
