EzDz Journal!
Okay so its Saturday and instead of taking the Z into the city with a buddy or the girl I'm home because my Z has been in the body shop for 2 weeks but ill get to that, along with the all anticipated INTAKE MANIFOLD!
So after totaling my pearl white 2015 Sti that I factory ordered in March I went car shopping. The Z was the top of my list along with a bmw 3 series and a Roush stage 2. I went up to my local dealer and saw a 2016 black Nismo but it was an auto.. I asked the sales guy if I could drive it. I was 22 at the time, (retired disabled vet) he was like oh we dont want to put miles on it. I said how about if I like it you can find me a stick? He jumped on that and gave me the speal but really didnt know anything about it lol. As soon as I sat in it I knew I wanted the Z, but im a nismo whore and love the little things you get even though the price tag is a little excessive. Found one in Ohio and got her shipped in a few weeks later. The first night I had it I was with my group of good friends and we put on injen intakes and aam short tails, I am secretly impressed with the stock tune but can't wait to get it up to my tuner after the spring rolls around. Withing 1000 miles my csc went, in a diff thread and stuff. Got that taken care of and went straight for swift springs, rear spc camber kit, stillen lightweight pulley, unorthodox alternator pulley, and 15mm spacers. So I got around 2k miles on it and a truck hits my rear quarter panel while I was parked... Now I have been waiting for 2 weeks and it will probably be another 3.
Plans for the car currently are getting a Moore Performance custom 2.5 inch cat back with x pipe and ceramic coating with real titanium 5 inch tips. Then over the winter months she will be getting Moore custom long tube headers, intake manifold, 2.75 inch intakes and probably a new strut bar. Anyone that doesn't know there is a thread in the intakes/exhaust for the intake manifold that will be produced for our Z's. Plan on staying NA for awhile until its time for a turbo or 2.....
