The RWB JK build
So it has come time to change my z and take it to the next level of its life. In the next year to two years my team and I will be building my 09' 370. A short debrief of whats to come. We will be doing an RWB inspired build via wheel, tire, chassis mount swan neck wing and flair fitment. Currently what it looks like.

Change of plans we will be running the AIMGAIN flairs vs moonbeam due to the mass amount wider they are.

Decided to run a Gloss black lip and a flat black face S1 or M1 3P, this is an terribly hard decision

picking up the The Wheel Fit Tool Determines The Widest Tire And Wheel offset - Online to get the perfect fitment. Its actually a great invention

Tires are in! and a few suspension parts needed to get the specs I am trying to achieve 275/35/19 and 335/30/19 the rear tires are slightly larger in hight compared to the 275. Ive got a feeling the rear will haver a hair more stretch to even that number out. http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m...psxvpfvnxr.jpg

Did some cutting yesterday, "diffuser" deleted. The main reason for cutting out the diffuser is for exhaust clearance. I will be fabricatimg new brackets to raise the Tomei exhaust for we will be dropping the car slightly. Once the shine auto rear spats go on the rear of the car will appear lower. Making room for a custom diffuser. We also installed some SPL traction/ toe arms.

Have been waiting for months just to get a part to work on it! This months most of the parts should arrive. Here is a little update of whats in progress>

Being the first to receive the chassis mount wing and being as battle aeros manufacture welded the brackets small we had to do lots of modifications to make this thing fit. Holes had been to short so we slotted and carved longer ovals to accommodate. As well as all the holes had been to small due to powder coating so drilling them all out was yet another step to do.http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m...ps39wsowy6.jpg
the end hight will be no higher ten the top of the car so drilling new holes lower may need to happen. |
Aero jacket rear spats and vortex generators also came in this week http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m...psutngaosu.jpg

Sweet progress! I actually just got battle aero's chassis mount swan neck wing :) excited to see more!!

Well progress continued yesterday with the wing 99% done and the rear spats fitted. The wing looks higher in the picture then in person. http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m...pszjoeyqas.jpghttp://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m...psezirwwu4.jpghttp://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m...psay64dize.jpg

Looks killer!! Is that the 70in deck?
|
Nice... cant wait to see it completed.
|
The sticker on the bumper is covering up a pretty gnarly scratch
|
Look wise, the diffuser delete, wrapped single exit exhaust and that big wing, really make the rear end look raw and all business. Nice!
|
God I really want a chassis mount wing! That and a real splitter are my first big goals

Do they have the 370z listed yet? Or is their sight just not up to date yet?

i did have to do some extra work to get it to fit though. Holes had to be notched, all holes needed to be drilled out due to the powder coating
|
every thing bolt on never fits right....my exhaust being a prime example
|
im interested in the wing.. how is it when driving?
