Dipped my wheels anthracite grey with glossifier
This weekend after a lot of research and planning, I dipped my wheels and took more than usual to complete the whole process. I think it was worth it. What do yall think?http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08...8f33503711.jpghttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08...530a1e5470.jpghttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08...e8f7d803a3.jpghttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08...1b8f4790d2.jpghttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08...ab8c2f4a34.jpg

i don't like plasti dip but it looks pretty good.

I like 'em. The base wheels have grown on me (slowly), but they would look better if they were a little darker. Black is too dark, IMO, but the gloss grey looks good.
If you get the chance, please post a direct side shot of your Z. |
i do like plastidip and it looks damn good. you got a pretty smooth result; good job.

looks good im thinking of doing my whole car in that color to protect it from rock chips

Thanks for the feedback guys. I have seen many plastidip cars and wheels and I always thought it looked cheap. With this, I figured I can peel it off if I don't like it so why not give it a try. I did a lot n of prep work and very diligently sprayed to get the cleanest and smoothest looking surface.
I just couldn't afford getting new wheels and tires..it's a bad investment for me lol. http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08...585353a07b.jpghttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08...8784fe520c.jpghttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08...4dc4a513ab.jpg |
