Yea I have the body kit and hood and etc with me at my shop. They arent going to put it on. I have to take it to body shop so they can reclear car and drill the flares in. Unfortunately I wont be attending znats this year :(

scope22 10-07-2016 12:55 PM

yea that's right, i remember looking at your wheels which were sticking out about 3 inches beyond the body and fenders were cut back, thinking wtf.... btw that RJM (i'm assuming its RJM) intake looks great but rough...it needs to be smoothed out then powder coated or something...

Carbon_z 10-07-2016 02:59 PM

yea agreed but thats how it comes.. Ill be cleaning it up once I decide on what to do to the upper intake manifold.

Carbon_z 12-05-2016 12:01 PM

Boy, did it feel great cranking and revving the Z up today. Headlights are installed HALOs are only on and super bright lol. Once gauge cluster is installed scheduling it for body shop. Felt extremely well built and very solid! Ignoring how the car looks on the outside, felt like a race car with the OS Giken Quad Clutch.

Headlights were Professional Painted to match the shell of the 370z (Tuxedo Black which has multiple color flakes), Quad Projectors, Frosted Turn Signal Lens, New quad XSB Switchback halos, STI-R Clear lenses with projector tune, LED parking light bulbs.

Every component inside the headlights were wetsanded, buffed and Ceramic Coated, even the inside of the lenses ;). Time to make my car a car again!

Thanks Guys :) Should be ready once body shop work is complete. No events really planned during Dec-February so gives me plenty of time to make her shine again before March.

SgtGoldy 12-06-2016 03:45 PM

They need to get some carbon revolution wheels on there. So much carbon you might as well go for the wheels too:

One day maybe ;)

Looked those up not too long ago after stumbling across a picture. Crazy things cost as much as the car lol

Sexy damn wheels though, no argument there!

Received pictures of CarbonZ and a giant smile appeared on my face. Full Strip down and re-clearing of the entire car with a special added metallic flake to give the full carbon fiber body some pop once exposed to sunlight. She's almost ready to make a few appearances after taking a 2.5 year break from the extensive motor build 4.0L Twin Turbo (1300hp, 1100whp) and other work. ;). The crew at European Collision Repair have done a fantastic job thus far and I wouldn't have expected anything less from a certified Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Audi USA and soon GT-R collision shop :)

Cutting it close but still hoping for a WannaGOFAST appearance next weekend. Zdayz is still planned as well :). Windows and panels are being installed as we speak.

This is what my build would look like if I decided I didn't really need an IRA. :rofl2:

Carbon_z 04-28-2017 11:16 AM

^^^ hahahaha thanks guys

Hotrodz 04-28-2017 11:22 AM

Freaking amazing my friend. I can't wait to see the transformation as I had the pleasure of seeing her the last couple years while she was at Forge Performance. It makes me sad that I will miss seeing her since I will not be at ZDAYZ this year.

Truth! I'd never make it to 60 anyway if I had a 1000+whp car.

Well we almost got her ready for Wannagofast for this weekend but we still need another couple of days to get her complete. Great effort from the guys at European Collision Repair. They went above and beyond on getting her back together. Good luck to everyone attending the event this weekend!

Hotrodz 05-06-2017 03:26 PM

Sorry that you weren't able to get her done in time but better have it done right the first time as you already know!

Carbon_z 05-09-2017 11:14 AM

Thanks bud, we are planning on attending zdayz :) First one.

Body work..... Done! Woot. Bolted and nut inserts on all the carbon signal carbon fiber moonbeam kit and flares. Time for some polishing and then off for final Tuning. The guys at European Collision Repair did a fantastic job getting her back together and re-clearing the entire car with metallic fleck. Couldn't be more appreciative of the phenomenal work they conduct on a daily basis.
