Are they going to smooth the outside of it, or leave it with all of the ribs?

For now I think the outside is going to stay that way for both CarbonZ and my units. RJM has stated they will be reducing the effect of the tooling on the next batch of units. This weekend should be pretty exciting if all goes as planned... I know I am looking forward to it!

Yea i spoke with RJM yesterday and should have the new rails completed this week as well. :)
