We went to powdermountain and snow basin... the wind on the very top snow basin literally pushed us up the hill it was f'ing crazy!!!! Also we would run into snow up to our stomach and it would take 2 hours to get out!! haha.

Hey darkseed! You get your rims PC'd yet? How'd they turn out?

I haven't hit the slopes in years. I get a little tempted when family or friends come into town and invite me along but I never want to go and make a fool of myself without having been in a while. One of these seasons I'll buy a pass and get back into it.

That and it's one of those things that is so convenient it gets overlooked, like whenever I make it back to SoCal I always go to the beach but if I lived there again I probably wouldn't go that often.

I did go to Mammoth Mt. a few times when I was in HS. Beautiful area up there. We would also go hiking in the Sierras near there in the summer, weeklong 50+ mile hikes way into the backcountry. Some great memories.

It's been a few years but I used to snowboard. Did a little skiing before that. Lately the most fun I've had in the snow is on a ATV until the Forest Service closed the canyon by my house to ATVs during the winter. Sliding aound in the snow on a quad is a lot of fun. I was bummed when they did that. I sold my ATV a little while ago :shakes head:

And.. back on topic :tiphat:

Shrute its funny you mention selling your ATV a while ago. I work for a Honda, Yamaha, Polaris and Suzuki dealership in Helper so if you are thinking you want back onto an ATV I will make sure you get a crazy good deal! Imo the best thing on the market right now is the Polaris rzr, check it out sometime.

ok haha my rant is over, back on topic.

Thanks dub, next time I'm looking for an ATV I'll hit you up for sure. I've only had Hondas (Recon, Foreman, Rubicon) but I'll look into the Polaris, thanks for the tip. Speaking of the Hondas I've owned, about your avatar...:rofl2:

Hey Schrute, great journal! Lots of useful info, I have to admit I have used this journal as a reference guide quite a few times :)

schrute 01-19-2010 09:03 PM

^Thanks JB1! I appreciate that, and I'm glad the journal helped!

I took advantage of a break in the weather (high 30°'s, maybe 40°) to do oil change #3 today at 8512 miles. I was going to stretch this interval out to 5000 miles but I just couldn't wait :)

Redline Oil, Purolator filter, new Filter Mag and Blackstone Oil Analysis kit

I upgraded the filter mag to the HP250 version (stronger magnet). I'll use the SS250 on the other car now.

Always use a new crush gasket, they're cheap!

I lift the driver's rear corner to drain a bit more oil out of the pan (about 1/8 to 1/4 qt. drains after lifting the corner).

RCZ, how do you like the Hotchkis sways? Trying to decide between those or Stillen.

Loving them. Depends on your setup. Both are great bars.
