For this SoCal transplant 14F is plenty cold. -33C? I think I would crawl into the oven and stay there until spring.

7k miles in four months. The Z will see over 20k in its first year at this rate. Having fun with every mile.

I purchased a set of kickplates from Cjanik a few weeks ago and I finally found some time to install them tonight. Cjanik modified them with white LEDs to match the white LED interior lighting in my car. I'm very happy with how they turned out and I think they look great - thanks Cjanik!

Shrute! How is driving the Z in the snow treating you. I don't think I have even started my Z in the last two weeks

That sucks you haven't been able to drive your Z but of course you're all set with your Titan. I miss mine, wish I could have kept both but it's all good. I carpool with the wife on the worst snow days like today. We just got her Xterra back from the body shop after a little mishap. So much for the X being the better winter car!

A big thanks to Motoextreme for the great deal he hooked me up with on his Nismo rims. These are off to the powdercoater later this week, going with the same solar (flat) black as my winter rims since I'm happy with how they turned out.
I plan on ordering Hankook Ventus V12 Evo tires in 275/35 & 305/30, but no hurry there as I won't swtich wheels until March or early April. Anyone have any feedback on these tire sizes for 9.5/10.5 wide rims? I was impressed with the weights on these wheels (see below), nice and light (especially for an OEM wheel). Nismo Rays 19x9.5 (Front) weight = 20.7 lbs. Nismo Rays 19x10.5 (Rear) weight = 23.0 lbs. The rims arrived in perfect shape, thanks again Adam!

Nissan has some other wheels available as an option but at a high price, you'll do better in the aftermarket. The Nismo rims pictured above are exclusive to the Nismo Z, though that could change in the future I suppose.

I haven't weighed the Sport package rims myself (don't own a set) but I found this on Injected Performance's blog: Sport 19×9.0: 23.20 lbs (10.52 kg) Sport 19×10.0: 23.80 lbs (10.80 kg)

Schrute, if what you need is inexpensive daily driving tires, then the Hankook are great. If you need sticky, track-drivable tires then get one of the more expensive sets. Like RE11's or AD08s or NT05's. I'm on the NT05s and they are pretty good. SUCK in the cold, but then again, so do all performance summer tires.
