Tturbo370z 800whp build thread
This has been long over due and decided I would give this a shot. Being that I have learned so much and gotten ideas from other members I have decided to share a little myself.
Quick little history. After having a stock 2009 for 3yrs I decided to use the money I pulled out of savings for having a baby using IVF and spent it on a GTM stage 2 twin turbo set up for my Z :wtf2: As u guessed it the wife was pissed but I knew this was my last chance to roll like Paul walker and vin deisel F&F style. I was told to go to Intense Power and u guessed it, they messed my car up bad. I then a few months later sent it to GTM. I figured if the guys who made the turbo kit couldn't get it right then the car was done for. Wrong! Long story short tens of thousand of wasted dollars later and 17ish mos at GTM I pulled the car and had seb at specialty Z completely reinstall the turbo kit and did an amazing job. What's weird is not only was he honest and reasonable he was GOOD too. So I want to thank seb at specialty Z for making this car drivable and for me to be able to enjoy something i was beginning to hate. Parts list to date. Im gonna do my best as I has never made this list until now haha there was plenty of things that have went on and off the time GTM was trying to make the car workable but this is the end result as of now. This is a picture of the HKS evc6 and Apexi din gauge. It's was custom molded in by someone GTM used when it was there. The Apexi gauge displays water temp oil temp and oil pressure.

This shows the defi gauges in the stock location. Somewhere along the line either intense or GTM messed up my hats so they are a little messed up. Need to reglue them on someday so the egt gauge doesn't look like its handicap. These gauges show boost, fuel pressure and egt

On 91octane and 15lbs of boost she made a mediocre 567whp/ 456wtq. We have never run pump gas lol not even once.

Since specialty Z did the reinstall we converted her over to e85 and she made a comfortable 800whp/700wtq at 25psi :driving: we didn't feel the turbo housing was gonna give us much more and didn't feel we needed to prove anything else at this point I was happy :yum:

Behind view of the cockpit showing all the gauges lit up. There is an innovate wide band and aquamist gauge in the a pillar made by galeforce. I currently have a single galeforce a pillar with just innovate wideband. After never using it I pulled out the aquamist when I converted to e85 during reinstall.

You know it...Fast 500 fuel system install, FI crash bar and a tune for 91 and 100 octane. Everything was done back in early Dec, but we were wait to see what ecutek was going to do as they said it would be ready about Christmas :shakes head:...well here we go again, hurry up and wait, so we decided after waiting a month to go ahead and tune with uprev. I will make the switch for sure if flexfuel is a reality. This weekend will be full of fun and knuckle busting. Install the new hood and a whole bunch of SPL suspension parts. :driving:

Is it possible you or someone might be able to tell me why almost every notification I have from 370z forum goes to junk mail? I even tried adding 370z as a contact. I looked it the faq and did a search with no luck. I'm not a computer or Internet guy as u can see by my build thread via iPhone lol I don't even know how to make the links in my sig to my build thread and IG . Definetly be nice to get an email to threads im subscribed to when it's set on instant notification. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me with that  |
Love it! We need to see some videos now of that beast in action :)
