Varis arising 2 carbon fenders

Well.......my build sort of changed direction again :rofl2: I have now went from fly1motorsports frp fenders, to fly1motorsports carbon fiber fenders, to ordering my Varis Arising 2 carbon fiber fenders. I have wanted these fenders since there debut at TAS and soon they will be mine, all mine :excited: We are going to retrofit them with my fujimura rocket dancer front bumper for ultimate sexyness :yum: Now....I wait :shakes head:

I'm starting to tear the Z apart as I'm getting bored waiting for parts. Got ride of that stupid weight in the truck hatch that keeps my actuator from popping up. DE had a fantastic diy I have been wanting to do forever. Even thou Nissan supposedly "fixed" the problem long ago it never did. This should help some. So long sucker!

Well I had some time to start mounting the bride seats in my car last night. I'm not sure if it's the universe telling me I shouldnt have this car (according to my wife) but nothing works as intended.....the first time. Yes I'm a persistant bastard so a botched bolt hole isn't gonna keep me from mounting these freaking seat rails tonite. Yes I know. Your thinking the same thing I did. How is it that a brand new seat won't mount up to the seat rails with ease? #becauseracecar that's why, because it's a mutha f^*king race car

The joys of customizing. Rule #1. Nothing fits like OEM. Nothing.

Sub'd. This is really coming together nicely. Good job man

tturbo370z 03-27-2015 04:05 PM

Thanks guys. I need to find a shop that wants to sponsor my custom widebody with these jdm parts RWB style without the bolt on flares. Similar to why bullitt did with the white dragon. This build is just taking too dumb long lol

GaleForce 03-27-2015 04:20 PM

There is a guy with a white widebody 370z (not the dragon). His is the cleanest widebody I've seen on this platform. You need his guy to do it.

I'll try to find the car.

You may be talking about kevin's nismo... It is pretty nice. However, it just looks like pulled fenders... I should be seeing him at import alliance on sunday and will take pics... maybe side by side

Could be. At first glance most people wouldn't notice that it's been widened because it looks so clean/stock. The front fenders have the "Z" turn signal frenched in. Is that his Z?

The Dragon and the Z i'm talking about are two totally different looks. It's very obvious the Dragon is a widebody, the other one looks stock to the untrained eye.

Mike knows what I mean. :p

Are you going to use a boost by gear controller? I don't see how you will get any transaction at all. Lol

I doubt that will help. Best he could do is waste hate pressure which at his spring level is still going to get all kinds of sloppy in anything less than 4th gear.

GaleForce 03-27-2015 08:12 PM

He has a RaceLogic TC system... That and the new 345's in the rear should help a little.

Never want to skimp on safety especially when u have kids. I have a baby who someday will ride in the Z and by installing racing seats i would normally lose air bag function or have it permanently armed. Taking the seat weight out curtiousy of Equinox and his wonderful dyi :tiphat: I removed the factory airbag weight sensor in the stock seat to install it in my bride seat

Atleast they are in  need to bend brackets on harnesses to get this in next while I'm sourcing the perfect 4.7 ohm resistor haha
