The next big step is getting her painted so she doesn't look like a 16yr old kids first drift car. If there was zip ties holding the body panels together that's exactly what she would look like.:rofl2: she is 4 different colors if u count the carbon fiber. The guy I may have paint her should be free around March so hopefully by spring I will be able to drive her . It's too embarrassing the way she sits now. Poor girl just sits in the garage or I sit in her and look up car parts and read on this forum :shakes head: she deserves better :driving:

Thanks for all be positive feed back so far . It's definetely encouraging :icon18:

JARblue 01-26-2015 08:08 AM

With 800 whp under the hood, I wouldn't give a fvck what the body panels looked like :driving: Definitely get them fixed. But don't give two $hits what anyone else thinks about them until then :twocents:

Oh that GTR manifold :yum: Every Z I see with one gives me hope that they will eventually make it to market :)

It will be someone other than GTM I can almost assure u of that. Hopefully soon somone will come out with a manifold that can handle the boost and give hp gains.

That's good to hear. GTM coming out with it would be the worst possible scenario. I wouldn't give them money for anything. Period.

Personally, I don't care about boost performance or hp gains right now. Purely aesthetics for me :yum: Of course, being able to handle boost with some hp gains would be awesome for everyone

I looked it the faq and did a search with no luck. I'm not a computer or Internet guy as u can see by my build thread via iPhone lol I don't even know how to make the links in my sig to my build thread and IG .

On this, what email address do you have?
icloud/gmail/outlook/yahoo/other

Most likely you need to go to that service and have the 370z domain added as an approved (not junk) address. Even adding to your contacts does not always work, it can still be filtered to junk.

I have this down to receive yahoo email. It's weird fix I get a few here and there but 95% go to junk . I'm guessing I need to fr and so this from a computer? I'm 90% on iPhone 10% iPad. Falcon northwest collects dust now that I don't game anymore haha.

I'm in Gilbert. We can meet up anytime man. I'm always happy to share my good and bad experience with anyone to help them make better choices than I did and save a lot of money and headache.

Bahahaha:icon23: you will love this then. My service soon light also came on hehe but I'm pretty sure it's one of those automatics things. I need to check service manual on how to reset for oil changes etc cuz I'm sure the last 2-3 it was not done. Oh and the ac clicks like a screwdriver hitting a bench whenever the car is in aut0, defrost, defrost and feet or Just feet. If I switch it to upper and lower together it stops. It's weird cuz with key in on position or engine running clicking doesn't change with engine speed. Happens with air or heat on/off and only changes when I adjust the way it comes out. I'm just glad as hell it's not engine or boost related. Ac and heat both work, I just lost my auto selection I always left it on. Haha I was laughing cuz I wasn't driving it and when I do something breaks. I think she is mad at me for letting intense and GTM tear her all apart. I'm making it up to her thou slowly I think :ugh2:

brutusvk 01-28-2015 06:31 AM

Well, maybe one of these weekends we can get a few people to hit up one of the car shows. It would be nice to see a bunch of 370s out there. Usually there are more every other type of Zs than 370s.

My car is in the stereo shop right now. The shop is on the border of Mesa and Gilbert. (By the SE Courthouse) Sadly, I live on the other side of the Valley. But it is worth it to go to a good shop.

Ya I will def have her out more when she is painted. Wouldn't mind going and meeting with like owners for sure ..

I hear ya on a good shop. I pack mine up and send it to specialty Z when I need car work done. I understand the importance of a good shop....period. Fewer good than bad.

brutusvk 01-28-2015 09:23 AM

Looks like when the Z needs a rebuild I will have to go to CA! I guess that is why I have a car trailer. (the nova will be jealous) When it is time for a rebuild I may have to get the 7AT built and twin turbo the car. Let's hope it is several years from now. I need my bank account to recover first!

I look forward to seeing your car.

Waiting for my bride seat rails I show up too. Bulletproof emails me on Tuesday and said they where being shipped out and gave me tracking number but fedex never shows getting delivery of the part :shakes head: bulletproof is supposedly tracking it down for me now.

Update: actually fed ex now shows them sitting at my front door. Ahh nothing like parts imported from Japan that u overpaid for because they are awesome and your wife drives by the house and notices it sittin there and stomps on the gas in disgust. I'm sure it played out just like that

My bride seat rails showed up today :happydance: I can't install them in the car yet since it still needs to be painted. I am slightly tempted to install the drivers side and then take it out b4 I send it to paint lol of course I won't be able to roll with my Takata harnesses in there or the amuse bar to hold them. Still worth doing? Seeing the boxes stacked up in the garage is killing me

tturbo370z 02-01-2015 08:39 PM

Was bored again last night and ordered an rjm clutch assembly  im praying this is THE answer to a normal feeling clutch in the Z. I was impressed after reading countless people swear it's there favorite or most rewarding mod and all for $250? I have to see if it lives up to the hype and it's the cheapest mod I have purchased. Lmao It was cheaper that my shift knob :ugh2: I really want it to be as good as everyone says it is and can't wait to give my estatic review that everyone else seems to give it. Of course it can't be without some headache as my good friend galeforce says "it's a pain in the balls to install" within a tight space, but I'm hoping having much practice "stuffing" myself in small spaces I will be alright :happydance:

SS_Firehawk 02-02-2015 06:57 AM

Finally got a build thread going I see. I still refer to your car as the fastest thing I've ever experienced. Its like the accelerative rush when falling out of a plane, but horizontal. All I can hear through three gears was the racelogic working to tame the beast. Aaaaannnnndddd then she hooks with the fury of 1,000 angry wives and catipults you into the future. This car is pretty legit. I feel bad for anything trying to outpace it.

I think you will be impressed  Although the OEM clutch pedal is a piece of $hit, so that's not difficult :ugh:

I recommend you find something to lay down next to the car that is about the height of the interior door sill and sturdy enough for you to lay on. In this fashion, I was perfectly comfortable for pretty much the entire install :twocents:

:inoutroflpuke: you always have had a way with words my friend. I'm really counting on these Toyo r888 in 345/30/19 to take some of the work out of the race logic for more butt puckering action in the first few gears. Kind of my brothers experience when i took him out and the car hooked really hard around 4500 rpm in 3rd and snapped his neck back in the seat :icon18: I just heard him scream oooouch :p

Thanks for the heads up Jar. I did read in a thread someone used milk crates and a blanket which sounded like a kick *** idea. It may have been yours. That's the only thing I'm hesitant on is the hurt im gonna feel after/ while installing this. It's been having me debting on having someone do it and paying the $100. Only this idea of having something to lay in and not be completely wrenched under the dash gives me hope

I actually used an undercounter file cabinet made of wood. I laid a thick blanket over it for some cushion. It made it very easy to get in and out, and I was quite comfortable for an extended period of time in the footwell. My fat, stubby fingers gave me a more problems than the working position lol

Actually, I didn't bother taking out the front seat. It was part of my master plan, but once I got the cabinet situated, I didn't feel the need with the seat pushed all the way back. And I'm not a small guy (6'-1" about 230-240)

Not go as I have not reinforced anything underneath (I think It was the diff mount that snaps loose after a launch or two terrible one could comment on that) and I need axles from drive shaft shop and those are $2k that I need not spend. But......doesn't mean I won't. Where can I find info into this?

To be honest, I don't know much about the event, I happen to see one of my friends from FB going. I did a quick search and this could be one of those events with a lot of Civics and cars of that type, but I don't know. Will have to Google it. I don't think I would run my car there either, but you never know.

Anyway, great build thread. Look forward to seeing your updates.
