Curb rash

I have curb rash. I live close to Gaithersburg, MD. Any good shops in the area that can fix this?

I agree. I am much more careful and patient now. It was within the first month of ownership. I was aggravated by the morons in the ... dare I say it ... McDonalds drive through and tried to go around in kinda tight quarters. My right front paid dearly for that lack of patience.

It is what it is. I gained a new perspective of the turning radius for the Z and learned that patience is warranted in some situations.

The good thing is that it can be fixed.

Or you could look on eBay, and just buy another rim, whatever is more cost efficient.

I think Alloy Wheel Repair is a franchise. I went to the one in Darnestown/Gaithersburg after I hit the debris on the highway. They were really friendly and accommodating, charged $125 to repair the wheel, and did it in about an hour. I rolled there on my spare with the damaged wheel in the hatch, and they even put it on for me. I would gladly use them again. Let me know if you want contact info.

Seriously?!? Barring extreme trauma, I can't see how buying a new rim and having a tire mounted on it would be cheaper than a repair to surface damage.

That sucks, i accidentally fell on the ditch while backing up and scratch the front passenger wheel.

The good part it was in the inside part of the wheel so it cant be seen from the outside. But still bit my lip for doing so...
