Mmmm, bummer. Winter is a good time to resolve that kinda stuff.

I rode over a parking spot curb a little. Can't even see it. So, I'll leave it alone. The wheel is annoying but ... may have to wait until the boy is out of college to fix it.

Yeah, a few things are on hold until I'm done stroking tuition checks

Anyone try to repair curb rash themselves? I have a small scrap, about 2" long, that I got this past weekend. Plenty of Youtube videos showing how to do the repair yourself.

My concern is with the silver paint -- does anyone know what brand would match the OEM rims on a 2013 base model?

FYI -- I got a quote from a local place, Wheel Fix It (kinda like the name), for $125, then another $15 to remount the tire. I sent a request to the local "Alloy Wheel Repair" place but have not heard back from them yet.

I dug up my old rpf1s pretty bad. Filed down the gash. Filled it with a spackling putty. Smoothed it. Rattle can primed then had a little paint shop color match it. They charged me $45

Heh, I curbed mine in November. Just got them repaired and repowdered. Used "Wheel Doctor" and they did a good job.

Only downside was that they quoted me 2-3 days to do the job and took a full month until I was happy but whatever.

I have not fixed mine yet. Maybe this year.
