Forecast says rain early then clearing.

As long as it's not raining too hard, I think we may be ok. Canopies will definitely help if people are bringing them. I have updated the OP with the directions to the picnic spot.

The girlfriend and I are a definite for Saturday rain or shine. Driving out Friday afternoon to catch the O's game and was planning on getting a hotel in columbia after so we can join the cruise in the morning. Anyone know what the closest hotel to the Target is??

Ingredients acquired for our potato salad and pasta salad. Now to whip up a side of some special hand-made white sauce to garnish on top...

Probably a hotel in Frederick would be your best bet.

Haha, he wants to go to the meet and cruise in columbia MD, I think he wants to stay around there.

Honestly theres a bunch of places in hanover near arundel mills. It's about 15 mins from the target.

Casey,
Shoot me a text later today and I can point you in the right direction.

Brian370 08-01-2014 08:03 AM

Oh, I'm also still in, sausages and buns.

Cooked the ribs last night. They now soak in beer infused, doctored, Bullseye original BBQ sauce (cooksillustrated favorite store bought). Also bought makings for beans last night, will buy makings for salsa tonight. Make salsa in the morning and then hit the road for the :driving: out of Columbia.

At least, that is the plan.

The ribs cooked while my son and I changed the oil in the Z. That was fun. I hope AK doesn't mind. I made changes to his DIY. I used a Deer Park bottle instead of an AuquaFina bottle.

That's a long drive to join the drive from Columbia. :icon17:

I'm excited! We are going to have a TON of food, so I need to be careful not to go overboard on the burgers. :icon17:

Even if it does rain, we can roll that beautiful bead footage

m4a1mustang 08-01-2014 09:36 AM

Who is bringing the grilling utensils?

jpkirk 08-01-2014 09:41 AM

I can try to remember to bring a set.
